Thank for your comment :) greeting from Brazil
I don't how much you hear this....but that is a beautiful process you designed. Take that from a guy who owned a business for twenty years that made composite aircraft propellers....GREAT STUFF!!!
Congratulations to Paulo Camatta and Luis Boloni for the excelent job.
you always can count on CROMITEC Whenever you need.
Excellent demonstration.
thats got to be the best cast ive ever seen nice work
Belo e maravilhoso trabalho...
Well done!! Maestro!
greetings from Greece
Very good! Let us an eye-opener!
Best work I have ever seen well done guys
Thank you. I have been looking for a video on this. I can fill in the blanks because I have experience with vacuum infusion, but I'm sure you could expand this to a course level teaching series. Than you for educating.
Skill and Passion.
@JustWonderingHowToDo The inner part is used a silicone ring seal type and is used outside a conventional rubber type wing.
Agradeço o comentário, abraços
Thanks for showing how it's made . I picked up a longer hull wonder where to get rest of stuff to complete.
Can someone explain me why there's no need for an infusionmesh?
Obrigado, abraços
Super Schiff, sehr professionell !!
well made presentation. waiting for others :) greeting from Poland
Gracias, por compartir este video.
Great video, thanks.
Perfect guys!
Thank for your comment
@robotmotor Use soft bristle brush and apply a second coat after the first polymerization.
Greetings from Brazil!
@deepak762 your resin hopper is pressurized at one end as well as
vacuum assisted at the other.
it's a push pull effect
I want one of those hulls for FPV boating!
@linearstar No problem handling fiberglass blanket. You must wear gloves and mask and goggles when handling resins.
@beachnative420 Proval problem of sealing film on the side of the mold. this fence has to be perfect to avoid the occurrence of air bubbles. The vacuum must also be controlled to a maximum of -0.65 bar. Above this level there is the removal of styrene resin.
Espectacular muy bueno 😃👍👍.
Gracias Jorge Nelson. Abrazos
Yes works with a thickness exceeding 2 mm.
Depending on resin type you can go up to 1/2 in laminate.
Thank You Dear Teacher!
Thanks
I make model boat so much different to this one, using marine plywood and fibreglass resin. I make cruisers and speedboats.
Nice. Very clean.
Thank you
Perfect
Awesome work
Thank you for sharing 👍
I used to do that - making fibreglass yacht decks. I thought fibreglass was a miracle material and couldn't understand why we didn't use it for everything.
Thanks
Impresionante.....
Desde el club Agrupación Aeromodelistas Albatros de Tigre Bs.As 👋😎
The best for airplane is infusion resin or vacuum bagging
@shkssj88 yes! Using polyester resin can not use a vacuum greater than - 0.65 bar because there is the formation of microbubbles caused by separation of the styrene resin.
Thank you for sharing that excellent information.
great video
Beautiful product, Thanks for posting the video. Is there ever a problem wetting the entire hull area or does that fact that the viscosity of the resin wetted cloth is higher than the still dry areas guaranty full wetting? Very cool to watch.
John Sikes Must use resin and specific strength for this process. Regards
Nice looking boat
lindo vídeo
A nice video. Do you use Epoxy base Gel coat and Epoxy resine here or Polyester..?
That was perfect.
@leparditas Not plastic, but a superior cast composites
Paylaşım için teşekkürler, çok güzel olmuş. İşçilik harika
👍 👍 👍
çok teşekkür ederim arkadaşım
@madamepo Sorry, but this boat and I developed this scale 1 / 20 and is exclusive of the courses that I do.
Greetings from Brazil
I taiwan china 謝謝您的示範
So good
Tebrikler, açıklayıcı paylaşım. Thank you....
Show !!!!!
Nice,,,
Super explained tks
Exothermic reaction control? Oh you mean a thermometer? The exothem can not be controlled once catalyzation has begun.
Perfect, meant to accompany the exotermic reaction that occurs inside the mold. Thanks.
I mean you could still cool it down when reaction starts to become hefty. But you would have to be quick.
Lol... I thought the same thing
nice
Cool👍
I tiwan china you good 謝謝您的示範
I use polyester but can manufacture epoxy
regards
Is a layer of wax calibrated.
Greeting from Brazil.
Excelente trabajo.¿hacen lanchas grandes?
if i want to create mold for wings,is it need to use upper and lower mold for both side?
Buenos Trabajooos😅😉🤗
@beachnative420 Exothermic reaction control? The correct temperature to remove the piece from the mold!
exothermic reaction is for cure of resin. wait for two or three hours after part has cooled. 30+ yrs in contact mold glassing.
where can I buy that boat hull?
Excelente 🇩🇴🇩🇴🇩🇴🌎
Muito obrigado Alberto!!!
nice casting
Ya the Japanese vacuum mold them outta plastic the difference is so negligible.. you guys are really plying your craft thanks for sharing
трудоёмко однако!
Music reminds me of my local indian take away :)
me encantaría poder ir a estudiar allá materiales compuestos, soy ingeniero en mecatrónica y me gustaría especializarme en materiales
Make one with plastic heating
Good lavoro
Grazie Elvis!!! Abbracci dal Brasile!
Barehand fiber love....
@baxo70 thats good information thanks to much bro love brazil also :)
@shkssj88 Hi, perhaps the problem is to use a vacuum up to -0.65 bar
Greetings from Brazil!
Très très bien cette façon de faire, pas de gaspillage de la résine et un produit fini propre, donc moins de main d’oeuvre.
No guys ! I said 30 meters not 30 centimeters !
Great, are you guys making big level for racing jet boat
what is the transparent top mold made from,
is it elastic ?
can you please recomand any literature
great work,
greetings from Croatia
What is the name of the material you guys use for the top cover, the transparent mold. The one you use when applying the last layer.
Does it work with carbon fiber?
where can i buy that old to make my own fiberboat?
What was in the small white pot used in the mold before everything else. wax? but what kind .
why not divided to compartments?
one little hole can sink all that
Hay
Brilliant. How did you establish location of vacuum to draw all of the epoxy throughout entire piece? Trial & error?
Thanks Jim! Fluid theory and calculation or trial and error with process knowledge.
Havent gotten that far yet - after 20 yrs as a homebuilder Im in school for a naval architecture engineering degree. This vacuum infusion process I think is the future of the industry for pleasure/sportfishing vessels which is the niche I want to pursue. University of Michigan offers a bachelors in engineering in this. In my 1st yr. Great video.
@@jimmascaro2456 Follow your dreams Jim and
Success always!!!
What was the original plug made from?
Only one layer of 1.5 oz mat. It would take a lot more work on the top mold if you did a real boat,20'- 40'. You would have to compensate for the thickness of the material, from the top of the freeboard to the keel of the boat. I think that is were infusion beats RTM all day long. TRM is nice and all, but the cost to do the inner mold with complexity would be to expensive.
BubaJ1000 The throw away plastic, peelply, infusion mesh, bleeder cloth and vacuum tape keep adding up, there is a turning point based on production volume where this becomes cheaper.
sheet wax calibrated
regards
Parabéns!!!!
Resina poliéster ou epóxi???
Obrigado.
Olá José, este foi feito com poliéster mas pode ser feita também com epóxi, basta ter o equipamento adequado.
Agradeço seu contato e gentil comentário.
Obrigado
this is cool
I'm so glad that they were given gloves and respirators and eyewear. Glad I dont work there.
Guy Tero me too want to work there
Do you know what, I am almost sure I have one of those hulls. Looking at the size, the design and the ribs in the hull I have one of those.. It sits very high in the water but I have to say I am very happy with it.. Only issue is the size and storing it.. where can I get another hull please? I got mine from the local council tip as a wrecked boat and I put it all back togeather into the smart boat it is today..
M Collins hi mate were did you get it from because I wanto buy one? by anay chance is it a replica of a blackwatch charter boat cheers?
hello, where can I buy this fiberglass vacuum injection technology, and the mold made according to my requirements?
He's not really controlling, just measuring it. If it gets too hot he would have to change the resin formula.
Very good
