I think my favorite side character will always be Kuma. Even before Egghead, he was my favorite after Jinbe strictly for how mysterious he was. He knows Dragon and yet is the architect behind the Straw Hat's biggest defeat but then he turns out to be the protector of their ship. He's a man with contradiction and cloudy motives all the way through to Egghead. Another favorite of mine is Garling, just based on character design.
A great choice and a great point regarding his mysterious and sometimes contradictory nature throughout the story. Also, it was interesting to see more of his backstory uncovered throughout Egghead, gives him even more points toward being one of the most intriguing side characters.
Just wanna say i love where this channel is going ^^ I have a weird favourite character.. I dont know why but i just love Hachi. His entire storyarc from Arlong Park - Sabaody - to Fishman Island is just fascinating to me haha. But i guess Bon Clay is easily my most memorable Side Character ( we all know hes a Main Character but it is what it is 🤭)
Not weird at all! Great choice, a great example of the character development that exists in One Piece. Both Bon Clay and Hatchan start as antagonists and develop into great friends of the Straw Hats. Also, Bon Clay needs to join the crew!
Perhaps fake but I think more so speculative based on limited information but either way I def should have stated allegedly before bringing it up so that we could have discussed it more. My B
I'm sorry, but theorizing that Luffy's going to go "wrath of the sun god" demonstrates a fundamental misreading/misunderstanding of the entire series. Luffy carries the inherited will of Joyboy. JOY boy. Nika is the god of liberation whose name is literally the onomatopoeia for "smile". He's not gonna go super saiyan. It's not that kind of manga.
