Do not skip skypeia, it is the only glimpse we have into a whole other world in one peice. The first time we saw and heard of Nika is in skypiea also in that arc luffy is shadowed as the sun god. Now in the latest 2 arcs both include sky island stuff with egghead having a Machine to make sky islands and elfbaf tree reaching all the way to sky islands having the heaven realm. Sanji also has one of his best moments in the arc "thanks I needed a light". Not to mention we had confirmation on things living on the moon. Enel is like an early Emperor of the sea. Skypiea has so much importance going forward.

Skip skypeia. You can for sure skip skypeia. I've never heard a good reason why you can't skip skypeia. I wish there was a supercut of people saying why you can't skip skypeia so we could force those people to listen to it and hear how irrelevant or unimportant all the reasons always are. You guys for example, you say you can't skip skypeia because doing so ... "is trash" ... excellent work professors, brilliant argument.

I'm sorry, but theorizing that Luffy's going to go "wrath of the sun god" demonstrates a fundamental misreading/misunderstanding of the entire series. Luffy carries the inherited will of Joyboy. JOY boy. Nika is the god of liberation whose name is literally the onomatopoeia for "smile". He's not gonna go super saiyan. It's not that kind of manga.

Just wanna say i love where this channel is going ^^ I have a weird favourite character.. I dont know why but i just love Hachi. His entire storyarc from Arlong Park - Sabaody - to Fishman Island is just fascinating to me haha. But i guess Bon Clay is easily my most memorable Side Character ( we all know hes a Main Character but it is what it is 🤭)

I think my favorite side character will always be Kuma. Even before Egghead, he was my favorite after Jinbe strictly for how mysterious he was. He knows Dragon and yet is the architect behind the Straw Hat's biggest defeat but then he turns out to be the protector of their ship. He's a man with contradiction and cloudy motives all the way through to Egghead. Another favorite of mine is Garling, just based on character design.

This was such a fun discussion! My favorite Straw Hat is Nami. There are so many great moments to pick from, but my favorite is Nami calling Kaido an overgrown snake and a liar because she refused to believe Luffy lost.

My favorite Straw Hat is Jinbe. Even before he was a Straw Hat, he was my favorite character. My favorite moment in One Piece is his "What Do You Still Have?" speech.
