Great video! Wtg! Sorry for ur friend as l see he’s struggling with the Willy’s of offshore but toughing it out like a champ! I always test people at nearshore reaf before taking them out to weed out the weak stomachs, the cure is to put them on some big fish and they forget all about being sick and are good to go!

Great boat! Who installed your Seakeeper? What rod and reels do you use for your cut bait rods? What is the smaller screen located on the top of console?
Tight lines and keep up the good content!

The SeaKeeper was installed by Safe Harbor City Boatyard here in Charleston. Happy to share more info on the install if interested. The smaller screen is just a 2nd Garmin chart plotter. My favorite cut and live bait setup is my 6' 6" Penn Carnage III paired with a Penn Slammer 6500 and 50 lb braid. I generally use shorter rods just because it is easier for me to handle when I am solo. Thanks for the encouragement!

Yes I would like to see more! So what seas do you like to go out on ? What do you find comfortable?
For your slow pitch jigging what size jigs are you using?
I currently have a G3 bay boat so I really need calm seas to go out to the reefs! Your boat would be a really nice step up!
      Thanks for the pics!

I'll try to show more of the SeaKeeper in a future video. Ideally, I would like 3' or less with winds 10 knots or less. However, I will go out if the forecast is up to 5' and wind is 20 knots and the conditions are improving throughout the day. I don't want to go out at the limit if conditions are forecasted to get worse. FYI, I'm still new at this, so don't take this as guidance, it's just what I do. Those G3s are nice boats!

Do you have Livescope installed on your pathfinder?

Yep, I do. I find it very useful bottom fishing.

What rod and reel are you using?

Shimano Grappler Type Slow J Medium Light rod with an Accurate Boss Valiant BV-300-SPJ Reel. It's a super lightweight setup that I love using.

Think about getting ocen 2000 and game J slow in medium. Do you like slow jig more than cut bait ?

Yes, I do enjoy it more. There is just something about the way a fish hits the slow pitch. However, I still use cut bait quite a bit. I always start with the slow pitch, and move to the cut bait if the fish aren't biting.
