Bobby Bandiera was listed as rehythm guitarist for the band, so he played alongside Richie and kept the rythm guitar going when Richie did his solos.
I come back every year to this version not because of Jon's great vocal but the epic solo by Bobby Bandiera! I could listen to that go on for a week. Simple stuff played well. He was watching Richie Sambora and taking notes, that's for sure.
