Liliane Dedoh no dancer is overrated, however one can be overhyped. (Neither of those girls are, they deserve their hype) many times a popular idol will have their flaws overlooked, which can be apparent in immature BLACKPINK/(G)-Idle stans. it’s really all her opinion on what makes a dancer a talented dancer. but I agree, those girls are incredible.

Finally, an honest to goodness analysis on her. No bias or whatsoever. The best part you highlighted was her weakness and opportunities. You gotta admit most fans are in denial and does not see these points. But I believe , that because she has weaknesses and opportunities, she will be able to improve more.

yeah she's really great, however I'm surprised that freestyling wasn't mentioned in the video, I think it's an important point about dancing which shows both skills and creativity and I feel like not a lot of top tier dancers in kpop possess such ability

Even if Momo is not perfect as a dancer or others may surpass her score here, what's important for us fans that people would actually acknowledge her capabilities and potentially being "one of the best female kpop dancers", and not being overrated. We are proud enough of her 😊😊
That's the reason why I never choose who's the best dancer in girl groups. Instead, I have this list of names (in no particular order) of those who belong in the god tier level of dancing in kpop girl groups of today.
The fact that Momo herself is never content with her dancing shows that she is determined to improve and learn further as she is very passionate in dancing. She wants to keep learning various styles & techniques (she recently said she wanted to learn street dance) I believe she will continue to be one of the best dancers as she excels in various styles. Her passion does not stop her here so Im confident that her dancing will keep surprising people in the future. She will soon reach a level like the top tier dancers, the executions of her not only one but multiple techniques and flows in her performance could be further improved and with her determination and dream, nothing is impossible. Momo is a great dancer & I look up to her so much not only her performance but passion as well.

I know you probably won’t do Lisa because the fandom has many toxic fans (blonks) but It’d be cool to see the difference between those four dancers (Seulgi, SinB, Momo and Lisa) Edit: I said only those four because I’d like to know out of those four idols which one is the best outta this analysis! Chaeyeon already got an S in the IZ*ONE analysis though ... I have a feeling it'll just be the same so it might be better to focus on ungraded dancers first. Chungha and Sunmi hopefully
i feel like momo really came into her own in yes or yes era, that's when her technique cleaned up significantly and she started handling much more complex routines. i think she's one of the best dancers in kpop ever, alongside hyoyeon and minzy.
Ya before that actually she seem to have some confidence problems !! In yes or yes era you could have seen her confidence in her execution and also I think she can become even better and also she doesn't have any dance project or rarely any dance cover to show much if her dancing skills and as being said in the end ,she definitely can become one of the best dancer of all time and still have so much potential

I'm kind of sad that Momo's overdancing instances may have been rooted from her sixteen days. I think that she's the best dancer of this generation and she should receive the recognition she deserves.
I think, it has to do with sixteen. Sixteen was really harsh and the day when momo was eliminated, that's where she lost her confidence in massive amount. Some people are wondering why momo has "I'm gonna impress y'all" or "I'm going to prove you why im the best" vibes, It's all because of sixteen. The worst show ever, i cant watch it again

I really can't stress enough that Momo is really one of my inspirations for dancing, because I need more work on sharpness with the arms and because I rarely see idols who do waacking. Mono does it in her freestyles so you know that she has more inclination to sharp angle movements.
OMG It has been so longgggggg since the debut that someone truly logically analyzed her dance skills from even her most obscure performances. Thank you for your work and sharing. That means a lot to ONCEs and Momo's stans
rest in peace today: scoreboard cause hgi clues are posted on the blog unless everyone comments on the hgi clue or in the channel. but to be fair, from what i read, it seems as if it’s 2.5:2.5! and also, just when i thought momo was good, the analysis shows how REALLY good she is. i think people throw around the word power loosely for her when her technique definitely has more detail and thought. she’s definitely amazing!

She is a great dancer! I really acknowledge her versatility and techniques. Her style and confidence really shows when she is dancing and is important for dancers, in my opinion. She does have a lot of potential to be entitled as the best but one of the major problems for me, was overdancing which was mentioned. It can look unpleasant at times but if she subsides the extra power, she will be even better! definitely one of my fav dancers
Chungha score (imo): OVERALL TECHNIQUE: very fluid and precise Facials - 8,5 (perfect control of eyebrows [Bang Bang], smiles throughout her performances, full head control) Arm Control - 10 (excellent accuracy which results in almost perfect waacking and voguing performances [predebut video, Stay Tonight]) Torso Control - 7 (good torso control but lacks sharpness, especially when doing body locks and such [Wow Thing comparison with SinB]) Lower Area Control: 10 (excellent control of her pelvis, legs which results in impressive flexibility that she showcased a lot of times [Why Don't U Know, Push Push etc]) Angles: 10 (very accurate angles, always well placed) Coordination: 10 (whole body is coordinated, legs/head/arms especially) Dynamics: 8 (flaw of a very fluid dancer, sometimes there's just a lack of different dynamics (forte, piano etc) in a performance. but never underdances/overdances, management of her energy is almost excellent) TOTAL: 9,07 [A]

I think this needs a little update too, Momo‘s dynamics aren’t actually a weakness for her nowadays, they are a strength and always have been. Facials: 8 Arm Control: 10 Torso: 9.5 Lower Area: 10 Coordination: 10 Angles: 10 Dynamics: 9 Versatility: 9.25 Weaknesses and opportunities: - fluidity is rigid at times since she holds too much tension because of constant muscle engagement - needs to develop groove, she’s really lacking in that area - overall tension should be less so she can make dynamically interesting choices - facial expressions need work Total: 75.75/80 = 9.468 (A-Tier)

Momo has grown up in my eyes so much as a dancer during few years and you can say she's a great dancer just by watching her fancams of Twice choreographies because she's slaying them! For me all the female dancers have done yet from 3rd gen in this series ,momo seem to have most potential because her major and only weakness lies in dynamics and as much I have seen all her videos and dances ,it more to her mindset ,the way it changed some times ,like she is not that consistent but really have potential to execute a perfect dynamics but she just has to acknowledge that for herself !! And she is versatile as well ! She will surely be in S category in future if she work on that

Don’t even deny this Momo is one of the great dancer in this industry. But she is also a human which have weakness and lack of something. But haters just attack because she can’t sing like what you should check a complication of momo vocals and it’s actually really good. I've been a kpop fan for quite some time now yet I never really understood why she's considered overrated or overhyped, I always thought her dancing skills are overlooked. I think jype needs to promote her more as a dancer, and give her more solo dances with 'badass' choreos because apparently that is what people tend to like and appreciate more. On the dance analysis of one of the iz*one songs, Chaeyon got S tier. Such a god. We don't know about about other great dancers so far, the only female idol they judged and got S tier was chaeyon. Since there are more videos to come, let's see!
I'm not too confident in Chaeyeon receiving an S tier grade in an HGI video but i'll bet her score's gonna be higher than Momo's and Seulgi's. At the very least Momo's and Seugi's weaknesses don't seem to apply to Chaeyeon. And so far among the female idols only for chaeyeon did OTS describe the technique as balanced, meaning chaeyeon can do sharp, fluid, powerful. What a Goddess. Edit: Don't forget OTS's exact words "No visible weaknesses" QUEEN!!!

For female category we cannot be certain yet who is an S tier overall unless On the scene give us an answer from How good is series. Because like OTS said, “How good is” has way tighter and higher standards compared to “Who dance the best series”. Momo, Seulgi might get an S for their own groups’ choreographies but their weaknesses are highlighted in other choreos, thus not being able to reach S tier, though Momo only needed a tiny bit more. I am rooting for Chaeyeon, she might get an A+ or S- and I hope she still remains S

i feel like momo really came into her own in yes or yes era, that's when her technique cleaned up significantly and she started handling much more complex routines. i think she's one of the best dancers in kpop ever, alongside hyoyeon and minzy.

In yes or yes era you could have seen her confidence in her execution and also I think she can become even better and also she doesn't have any dance project or rarely any dance cover to show much if her dancing skills and as being said in the end ,she definitely can become one of the best dancer of all time and still have so much potential

No I didn't in that way ,I mean she was too self conscious about everything and she has lost so much confidence in herself after sixteen elimination and was truamatized ,she even said on hit the stage ,that she only come here to face her challenge because she has kinda developed phobia from survival shows post her elimination

I think, it has to do with sixteen. Sixteen was really harsh and the day when momo was eliminated, that's where she lost her confidence in massive amount.

I really can't stress enough that Momo is really one of my inspirations for dancing, because I need more work on sharpness with the arms and because I rarely see idols who do waacking. Mono does it in her freestyles so you know that she has more inclination to sharp angle movements.

rest in peace today: scoreboard cause hgi clues are posted on the blog unless everyone comments on the hgi clue or in the channel. but to be fair, from what i read, it seems as if it’s 2.5:2.5! and also, just when i thought momo was good, the analysis shows how REALLY good she is. i think people throw around the word power loosely for her when her technique definitely has more detail and thought. she’s definitely amazing!

She is a great dancer! I really acknowledge her versatility and techniques. Her style and confidence really shows when she is dancing and is important for dancers, in my opinion. She does have a lot of potential to be entitled as the best but one of the major problems for me, was
overdancing which was mentioned. It can look unpleasant at times but if she subsides the extra power, she will be even better! definitely one of my fav dancers

Facials - 8,5 (perfect control of eyebrows [Bang Bang], smiles throughout her performances, full head control)
Arm Control - 10 (excellent accuracy which results in almost perfect waacking and voguing performances [predebut video, Stay Tonight])
Torso Control - 7 (good torso control but lacks sharpness, especially when doing body locks and such [Wow Thing comparison with SinB])
Lower Area Control: 10 (excellent control of her pelvis, legs which results in impressive flexibility that she showcased a lot of times [Why Don't U Know, Push Push etc])
Angles: 10 (very accurate angles, always well placed)
Coordination: 10 (whole body is coordinated, legs/head/arms especially)
Dynamics: 8 (flaw of a very fluid dancer, sometimes there's just a lack of different dynamics (forte, piano etc) in a performance. but never underdances/overdances, management of her energy is almost excellent)

For me all the female dancers have done yet from 3rd gen in this series ,momo seem to have most potential because her major and only weakness lies in dynamics and as much I have seen all her videos and dances ,it more to her mindset ,the way it changed some times ,like she is not that consistent but really have potential to execute a perfect dynamics but she just has to acknowledge that for herself !! And she is versatile as well ! She will surely be in S category in future if she work on that

Don’t even deny this Momo is one of the great dancer in this industry. But she is also a human which have weakness and lack of something. But haters just attack because she can’t sing like what you should check a complication of momo vocals and it’s actually really good. Momo and Twice are really talented so please don’t hate them just because they lack something cause other groups also have weaknesses and other stuffs. So yeah and thank you for analyzing her.

because there's a huge prejudice against twice since they feel threatened and they don't want to give twice the recognition they deserve.
I've been a kpop fan for quite some time now yet I never really understood why she's considered overrated or overhyped, I always thought her dancing skills are overlooked. I think jype needs to promote her more as a dancer, and give her more solo dances with 'badass' choreos because apparently that is what people tend to like and appreciate more. Idrk why but that's something I have observed. Also, the reply above mine is pretty much true.
what i like about her is that it seems like she really is enjoying the moment while performing. some moves look effortless on her and that makes her so engaging and intriguing to watch

On the dance analysis of one of the iz*one songs, Chaeyon got S tier. Such a god. We don't know about about other great dancers so far, the only female idol they judged and got S tier was chaeyon. Since there are more videos to come, let's see!

I'm not too confident in Chaeyeon receiving an S tier grade in an HGI video but i'll bet her score's gonna be higher than Momo's and Seulgi's. At the very least Momo's and Seugi's weaknesses don't seem to apply to Chaeyeon. And so far among the female idols only for chaeyeon did OTS describe the technique as balanced, meaning chaeyeon can do sharp, fluid, powerful. What a Goddess.
Edit: Don't forget OTS's exact words "No visible weaknesses" QUEEN!!!

For female category we cannot be certain yet who is an S tier overall unless On the scene give us an answer from How good is series. Because like OTS said, “How good is” has way tighter and higher standards compared to “Who dance the best series”. Momo, Seulgi might get an S for their own groups’ choreographies but their weaknesses are highlighted in other choreos, thus not being able to reach S tier, though Momo only needed a tiny bit more. I am rooting for Chaeyeon, she might get an A+ or S- and I hope she still remains S
