We love visiting but loved to keep our night time and morning time routines without feeling we were imposing of course we weren’t. Love everything y’all do. Cannot wait to see new adventures. Just a thought. Truck camper beds (and Runaway campers) are notoriously difficult to Make-up. You might want to consider Beddy’s. They’re GREAT (and so simple). One zip and you’re done.
Y'all should get a small electric heater with a thermostat on it. That way when you are on electric you can stay comfortable without using up the expensive and overly hot propane. We have a little pop up and the small electric heater is one of my favorite items

I feel your pain… My husband and I purchase a 1996 Trailer several years ago. Being our first RV had no idea the dry rot pain. My husband spent several months repairing the dry rot. We got a lot of good times in that trailer. Unfortunately I think we sold it for less than we purchased it for and we probably spent thousands of dollars in repairs. It’s been when you say is it really worth buying an older camper. Long story short we we had to give up our businesses. He’s a comic book artist and I had a discount store. When my father passed away. We sold the trailer. And now we both are letter carriers for the United States Postal Service. We miss camping. But I did keep my 1 ton pick up. And I am looking for a camper which is why I found your video. Because I wanna make sure I find something affordable that we don’t have to remodel. So everything that you say to look out for I’m going to be listening to. But on a good note… If you do ever make it to the Pacific Northwest. Let me know. I will show you how to catch some big Dungeness crab. Provided you like crab… Also we have amazing clamming up here on the coast.. Columbia River Gorge is a beautiful place. So is Multnomah Falls. It would definitely be worth a journey if you got up to this north west corner of the country. Good luck to you

keep up the great work! as far as the floor tile ,i always heated them up so the glue sticks better,you may want to use a hair dryer or heat gun and heat them up a bit,use gloves when doing.

Love you guys but you should consider a tested dog carseat to prevent her from going flying should you break fast or accident. I am a dog trainer and behaviorist who works only with small breeds. I have about 20 years experience and I’m certified and insured. If you have any questions about recommendations for a good dog car seat, I’m more than happy to help they are inexpensive and some double as carriers and such in case you needed to bring her in somewhere that was pet friendly. We're nervous about the cold, but thankfully our heater works well! Yep, we just put up curtains on ALL the windows and it's cuuute! We used the same curtains from our Runaway to bring a piece of it with us :)
@@honeyiroam my side curtains are from my Runaway. The buyers said they were going to change them, so I asked if I could keep them. They fit perfectly on the side windows in my Cadet. The fabric is discontinued, but I was able to find just enough to make the other curtains and the cushion covers. I love that fabric so much, that this is the third camper I have used it in.
I just had to stop vid to ask, since I saw twice, that you have a cup holder on the door, where did you find it?. I've been looking for one for my truck.
I actually found it at a small corner store in the middle of nowhere Texas! It was 10 cents loL!! I think you can find ones like it on amazon, perhaps search door cup holder and see what pops up.
