Watching these brings a tear to my eyes. I'm transported to my bedroom at home, 22 years old, watching these with my girlfriend, who is now my wife. I'm 37 now, she's about to turn 36, and while life is so different and in many ways better now, a huge part of me misses the times where we could lay in bed and smoke a bowl while watching AS together without a worry in the world.
Adult Swim in terms of its style, music, aesthetic and animation has always inspired me. There's just something wholesome about what it once was - a small group of people just creating what they wanted to. They didn't let budgets or lack of big teams stop them. The limited animation and chill music was always such a vibe. Imma be real, this is absolute a post where I'm trying to promote myself, but I'd like to do it here because I feel we are all like-minded artists. Fact is I've been on TH-cam for 10 years trying to get my cartoons noticed. On my first channel I made one gaming vid and that blew up so that's all people wanted from me. On another channel I made one auto vid and then that blew up. I have had people actively comment to tell me to stop making cartoons because that's not what they subscribed for. So, now I've got this channel. Just a team of two with full time jobs trying to make funny cartoons in the style of some of adult swims earlier stuff. We aren't looking to get big or famous, we are just looking for people who might care. If you go and give us a chance it would mean the world to us. You may not like it, and that's okay, but either way I think what's most important is we all accumulated here out of a love for a style of art so exclusive to itself.

@@kujakubes241that’s the year I was born and you mean 2002-2008 when it started at 11pm it used to start at 10pm on Sundays and not on a weekday or Saturday 12/30/2008-12/26/2010: at 10pm 12/27/2010-3/30/2014: 9pm (Cartoon Network started getting back the 9pm hour on November 11th, 2013 for gift time on certain shows e.g Regular Show, Adventure Time, or movies but not anymore and they will probably never take 9pm again) 3/31/2014-4/30/2023: 8pm (Cartoon Network started getting back the 8pm hour since October 26th, 2015 but not anymore) 5/1/2023-8/27/2023: 7pm 8/28/2023-present: 5pm
