Great video a friend of mine of used the Holt minnow in a hard fished spot in botany bay & caught a Jewy 65cm on his first cast i could not believe it proves it's a very attractive to any fish indeed he was using the freshwater color amazing...
You should look into kapten boat collars john, I did my 3.7m tinny 5 years ago and just bought a 5M - the first thing I did was put one on the 5. It makes casting SO much better and is really easy to fit. I have no skin in the reccomendation, just happy with those guys product.
Thanks for the new video mate, your a good bloke for doing these reviews for your viewers, they are entertaining and informative, can’t wait for the next video👍
Great vid , I have found everything seemed to love the swim minnow but I struggled with hook ups on the swim crab did you have a stinger treble on the first bream ? If so do you recommend?
Awesome review John, I've had a bit of luck with the swim prawns, but haven't been using them regularly, but will definitely be grabbing some of the swim minnows, and crabs, are the jig heads for the minnow a lighter gauge hook than the crab hook, that you said isn't as good for bream, and what weights were you using on the minnow, great video mate,
I fish at golden and want to fish for bream what do you think the best lures is for that do you think the crab I have tried grubz but nothing yet on them so what do you think is the best lure for bream can you please make a video on that
Hey John did you find the swim crabs lost their little wingy bits a bit too easy? Personally i think James might need to look for a bit of a stronger plastic. The bream think they are candy! Good product but not very durable like the prawn. Thanks again for another review mate, tightlines 🤙
Those swim crab jig heads look familiar. I've been using the same ones for a year or so now. Can get them on aliexpress for 30c each instead of $2 ea. They work surprisingly well. Used a couple this arvo and landed 20+ bream over 30cm, 5 flatties around 60cm, and a lone tailor.
Definitely an option if you want a light gauge hook, our ones are build on a much stronger hook intended for fishing around structure with heavier drag for species like Jew fish, trevally and mangrove Jack
