    I would just use a larger tin pan instead of the the pan and you don’t have to dump it twice . I like the spray on basket too. Good instruction.

    It is an amazing turkey cooking machine. You don’t have to keep it in the attic, it can cook so much more than turkeys.
    I enjoyed this video.
    Your weather machine said it was December fourth? It’s still October. Weather is still in the upper 80°s where I live.

    We just got the Big Easy. I just watched one of your other Turkey videos and you use a wired thermometer. Is this one easier to use? Thanks for these videos.

      To be honest, I feel it gets hot and gives a false reading if left in there. I tend to double check it with an instant one now to make sure its really what it says it is.

    I use those drippins to cover the meat when i put it in ziplock bags. It encases it it that fat. And avoids freezer burn. ..turkey can be reheated just by putting the bag in boiling water. Juicy awesome. Fresh turkey!! I like to cook a big bird. Lol

      Interesting idea, Im assuming you boil the drippings so they are edible, first.

      @JohnVHLife yes sir. Boil the drippings ,strain em and then yout ready. I wouldn't recomend just dumping the "raw" dripings on anything lol

    Hello I enjoyed your video, You mentioned you brine your turkey before hand. Are you able to dry brine a store bought turkey that says pre-brine on it I'm worried about the amount of salt and have you ever injected that butter mixture before?

    • @JohnVHLife
      @JohnVHLife  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      We did this time, we dont normally. Yes, you can simply rub seasoning on the outside if you like, or do the butter under the skin as I show as well. There is no wrong way!

    On my Big Easy the legs and thighs are around 150 when the breast hits 165. Have you ever had that problem. Any tips?

    • @JohnVHLife
      @JohnVHLife  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I just cook it until the breast is 165. I don’t check other spots. You would think those spots would be hotter than the breast?

    Is the butter certified butter?

      @@JohnVHLife Very Nice!! On Thanksgiving this year, I bought a 20 lb turkey and then remembered the capacity on my air fryer...i took it back and exchanged the turkey for a 16 pounder. Maybe I should have just tried the 20 pounder ;) Thanks for the video, I loved it!!
