Protip: if you dodge immediately after her last basic in the combos (basic x5 in normal form, basic x4 in her ult form) you can animation cancel and recover quicker into your next skill. The last hit will still do its drop and youll already be starting up your next action

I want to mention that creating these set rotations I don't think it's end all be all because you can be creative with quick swap. We have so much freedom with how we can do dmg that there's always the possibility that there's a better rotation and different team rotations
There is already a better rotation. Sanwhua is the main driver of the team but due to encores long animations we are basically swapping between them right at the end of encores animations. Its basically playing two characters at once. I also disagree that you will never use the standard heavy attack as it gives enough time for both characters with you to come out and do their resonance skills before swapping back.

Honestly, how is press ult > skill > 4x basic > skill > 4x basic > skill > forte that ridiculous? Like honest question, I even simplified the team rotation for this guide. Like, calcharo is way harder to play and requires multiple swap cancels to work properly.

I don't know how to explain it but with calcharo it "feels" like you're doing what you're supposed to be doing, while with encore it feels more like you are bending the character to do something else. I can memorize and do combos well actually. But I don't like to bother with them while exploring or doing activities. Also, I ended up just using danjin. What I realised while playing and talking to other people is mechanics in this game are complex and you only bother with them if you like the character so waifu over meta could actually be considered meta LMAO.

She really needs dodging and parrying so it's almost impossible to have consistent optimal rotations. ... and try not to die.

I love this solo gacha. The fighting style requires technicals to dodge, counter, cancelation etc. the normal mode doesn't require much effort but increasing event difficulty does require effort to survive.
My current team for her is Encore, Jianxin, and Aalto its reallt fun and works really well! Jianxin also heals so when I was running Verina instead of Aalto it wasnt enough damage. They pair so well together :)

No. Zy0x is not a theorycrafter, he relies on the work of others. He just puts info into accessible guides. Besides, I would hope creator here is better than Zy0x. Cause besides putting info into accessible form Zy0x isn't that great really.
Great video! I was looking through spreadsheet and was actually wondering. How do you calculate frames that each attack takes? Do you take those numbers from the gameplay footage or what? I was working on some spreadsheets of my own, but I never figured out an efficient way of getting this data specifically. The calculation & the rest of the stuff isn't a big deal, but frame numbers are.
During the trial use of Encore late in the main story, I actually really liked her basic combo and stuff. I'm trying to main Chixia (damage is kinda bad right now though) and I got lucky with Verina, but I'm really struggling with a 3rd member. Encore can't come fast enough. I like the tank girl (pink hair), but I don't know if she's going to be good enough to take into endgame so I've skipped on a 3rd team member for now.
Usually i use this . >Trigger Her Ult >RB attacks >LT attack >RB attacks >LT attack >Hold RB Though you need to be very quick and cannot be interrupted, or else you won't get the Hold RB during her burst state
For me using encore ult I tend to be able to use 3 skill if I just spam skill whenever it off cooldown and when I finish my third skill if the enemy didn’t knock me down or into the air I can immediately follow up with a enchanted charge attack
Aka changli is perfect. I don't know if it's 100% true but I heard her outro will be like inland but for fusion so 20% fusion damage and 25% super damage increase my bad I mean resonance liberation lolol
Hey, I was just wondering what is the DPS difference between the craftable 3* weapon (Guardian Rectifier) vs the 3* you have calced. It seems like the effect is suited towards Encore very much and it has the same base stats as the other one. Thanks for the content though, actually learned a bunch.

My Current team is Encore, Senhua and Verina. Just to understand, you say Senhua is great with her due to Basic Attacks buff, so this buff applies to basic attack in the ult forn? Also enhance priority, you explain Ult is #1 and Basic Attack is least priority... is it because this doesn't improve the basic attacks of the Ult form? Totally agreed! All guides up until sanhua have been recorded pre-release, which means I have not been able to do it because, well, the game wasnt out yet. However I plan on doing so for vids coming after!
It refers to how encore's normal skill is a 2-part skill: the first part is her floating and firing her lasers, then if you press the skill button at the right timing near the end of the shooting animation, she'll follow up with the 2nd part of her skill
it would be better if you excluded the redundant skills or set them aside atleast, instead of including them in the skill priority which is misleading as you might think they're also needed and end up wasting a lot of resources

what are your thoughts on encore-jianxin-verina combo? i feel like since you said encore is mostly liberation-reliant, jianxin would pair with her really well since jianxin's outro boosts liberation dmg by 38%. also, does encore's left clicks during ult count as basic attack dmg or liberation dmg?

while i do understand the appeal of not going hard with meta stuff for a single player game, i remember how much i struggled to do abyss tower in genshin impact when i didnt bother with meta at all and only cared about waifus and stuff. i couldnt clear it at all. so im still traumatized by that 😭 i dont understand the inferno rider vs geohide saurian for rotations. so, with the Geohide, you have to add 2 more basic attacks and changing the rotation slight ? is it worse to go with the Geohide in terms of maximum dmg ? or is the inferno rider still the max dmg possible ? is the difference very small for DPS ? im confused by that segment, sorry.

that rotation feels really wrong considering because her kit is built on swapping, you can fit an entire second units rotation within her own. in between the first and last hit of skill you can fit an intro+cast of almost anyone, then within the cosmos heavy attack you have a good 2 second window
That is very true, but only for outside her ultimate. However as I already mentioned in the pinned comment, I heavily simplified team rotations as not everyone wants to be a heavy sweater. And going by some comments right below this vid, pressing ult skill basic is already too complicated apparently, which shows me I was right in simplifying it.
You mentioned basic attacks are not good outside of her ultimate window, what should we do when we don't have her ult yet in earlier levels, what combos to use? i just spam basic attack and skill
Her basic quite good to pull enemy together, after finishing combo, if your gauge full, use heavy attack then immediately swap to other character (so u don't need wait for her heavy attack animation charge)
Interesting… she’s a main dps but I’ve been playing her as a swap sub dps 🤔 where id just skill and swap or hold attack and swap or use her burst, hold, and swap. Maybe I should consider using her as a main dps, thank you

Regarding 3* weapons, how does the Guardian Rectifier compare to the Rectifier of Night? The former seems to fit her kit pretty well.

Hello, most of Encores damage is considered basic attack damage (feel free to checkout the sheet!), so Ult dmg% is somewhat wasted on encore :(

what are your thoughts on encore-jianxin-verina combo? i feel like since you said encore is mostly liberation-reliant, jianxin would pair with her really well since jianxin's outro boosts liberation dmg by 38%. also, does encore's left clicks during ult count as basic attack dmg or liberation dmg?

while i do understand the appeal of not going hard with meta stuff for a single player game, i remember how much i struggled to do abyss tower in genshin impact when i didnt bother with meta at all and only cared about waifus and stuff. i couldnt clear it at all. so im still traumatized by that 😭 i dont understand the inferno rider vs geohide saurian for rotations. so, with the Geohide, you have to add 2 more basic attacks and changing the rotation slight ? is it worse to go with the Geohide in terms of maximum dmg ? or is the inferno rider still the max dmg possible ? is the difference very small for DPS ? im confused by that segment, sorry.

that rotation feels really wrong considering because her kit is built on swapping, you can fit an entire second units rotation within her own. in between the first and last hit of skill you can fit an intro+cast of almost anyone, then within the cosmos heavy attack you have a good 2 second window
That is very true, but only for outside her ultimate. However as I already mentioned in the pinned comment, I heavily simplified team rotations as not everyone wants to be a heavy sweater. And going by some comments right below this vid, pressing ult skill basic is already too complicated apparently, which shows me I was right in simplifying it.

You mentioned basic attacks are not good outside of her ultimate window, what should we do when we don't have her ult yet in earlier levels, what combos to use? i just spam basic attack and skill
Her basic quite good to pull enemy together, after finishing combo, if your gauge full, use heavy attack then immediately swap to other character (so u don't need wait for her heavy attack animation charge)
Interesting… she’s a main dps but I’ve been playing her as a swap sub dps 🤔 where id just skill and swap or hold attack and swap or use her burst, hold, and swap. Maybe I should consider using her as a main dps, thank you
