I would love to see John Waters come back to films and do something with Isabelle Huppert.
Oui :-D
That would Be Nuts!!!!!
God! Could you imagine what madness those two could cook up!
I hope so!
Something in the vain of Serial Mom with Huppert would be incredible
Love them both You can see John Waters is just thrilled to be talking to Isabelle. Great interview
John: "Aren't all control freaks looking for that one person they can't control and when they find him, it's hell?" Hilarious and so accurate
Isabelle is my absolute favourite actress
best interview with Isabelle ever. John Waters so full of humor!!! those questions went from one boundary to the other so fluently!! Love it
FANTASTIC now I can feel like I was there.
Saw her first in Lace Maker. Since then I have tried to see her in many movies as possible.
Did you see "her"?
@@juliencastle2953 One of her best movies !
Thank you for posting this!!
This is was wonderful. THANK YOU for posting!!!!!
Best actress ever
LA ADORAMOS!!
Two legends!
Great interview :-D
Adorable !
The chemistry was strange here, but I really love John as an interviewer… gotta look up if he’s done more
I love Isabelle Huppert's acting. I also have read much about her and seen many interviews. But I couldn't help thinking there was some strange vibe here with her and Waters, as in she was almost antagonistic towards him in a subtle, indirect way. She gave me the impression that she was having a discussion with someone she really disliked, but was tolerating for the purpose of the event. Can someone shed some light on this, if there's some backstory?
BMarchesa now I’m wondering
Bella M Her body language makes her seem isolated.
She's very reserved all the time, some people think it means you have a problem with folks around you but no she's just like that.
@@flazeda8743 She's really not. I've now met her several times since my initial comment and she's quite friendly and open.
Still doesn't answer my initial question, though.
@@Bella_Mar Yeah in a different environnement she must be open but during media events she always keep a certain distance imo.
I think they went along well tbh, there's no backstory known apparently. :)
Amo a isabel es un ser extraordinario
I wish John Waters and Isabelle Huppert worked on a project. Like Tim Burton + Micheal Keaton.
I hope they work together sometime!
Oh OUI 🎥🎥🎥🎬
Shame about the audio.
Some saucy questions from John here that are quite edgy and condescending (what was that hooker question??). Love it nonetheless. Isabelle can always stand her ground.
nice
@15:49 What is the HBO movie about abortion that Isabelle says she did with Al Pacino & Diane Keaton? I can't find any info on such a movie in their IMDB credits. Was it never aired?
I suppose it was the HBO movie called You Don't Know Jack directed by Barry Levinson. Pacino starred in it, it was pretty good.
@@adamszabo4093 Yes, I came to the same conclusion that Isabelle was referring to You Don't Know Jack with Al Pacino and Susan Sarandon (not Diane Keaton). Also, I must have misheard /misinterpreted Isabelle say that she was also in the film.
Isabelle's first language is not English and IT SHOWS: it is frustrating how she gets entangled with an idea in her head and clearly cannot express it in the interviewer's language
Her body Language says it all.......She wants to be far away from this guy.
"This guy" is John Waters and you are so wrong!
She's French......
Hugo 411 I thought the same thing. She's animated and forthcoming, but she's speaking straight ahead as if he's in front of her, not to her right. Also, her legs are crossed away from him. It seems as if she may be intimidated by him, perhaps his height. She's very tiny, only 5'3"".
TH-cam's body language "experts" and their conclusions lmao...
@@mar1812 And now xenophobia to follow a trial of intents... :D
waters is bad interviewer, she is shocked at his dumbness
They didn’t get on, it’s obvious, she’s masking to his clowning… bad idea all round…
