Agree, it is just a drama. If they can use cruise missiles to precisely strike the airfield, they can use the same cruise missle to strike the nuclear facility.
@@sozibrahman8504 they could've also use 2 non nuclear ICBMs warhead, like that could fly faster and low down the valley like the F18 and they would've been extremely precise.
Two seater is easier for filming. However, today's CGI is so good that they can still film on a F-18, and make it appear exactly like the interior of an F-35 in the movie. The problem is this mission would become totally unchallenging - Tom's skill no longer needed = not a good script

Belive me, with the F 35, it would have been a cake walk to do this.... They used the FA 18s to add drama....

@@user-longtingfan Exactly, but it was a great movie
They could've also just sent 2 F22 instead of 4 F18s the SAM's and Su57 would never know what hit them and why lol.
@@user-longtingfan maybe the nuclear plant have some kind of dome shield against cruise missile, which the runway has not

The main reason they used F-18s was because F-35 cockpits are classified, so they weren't allowed to fit a camera.
They used F-18's coz it be a two seater and dey need da space for filming.. you dig??
