We show you how to unlock the new Crossy Road Secret Character "Purple Bloop" of the Crossy Road Christmas Update. Play as the Grablin character. The Grablin will turn Crossy Road into a clicker game: You can beat Crossy Road characters by tapping and swiping the screen, they will have a hitpoints bar and different levels, so it will get more and more difficult to beat the enemies. It is said, that you have to beat a enemy of level 35 or above. We unlocked Purple Bloop three times so far using this method, but one time it didn't work out. Hence, our guess is that it's rather a certain amount of taps and swipes than the exact level of the enemy. Most likely you will need 500 taps, which is around the time, when you have beaten a level 35 enemy.
For the people who are struggling with the unlock, here's a trick (no Crossy Road cheat, hack or glitch neccessary), which will make the unlock easier: Stand in front of a block or tree and tap/swipe as fast as you can, this will count towards the unlock!

A brand new Crossy Road Christmas Update of 11 December 2015 is out now adding 7 NEW christmas characters and 2 NEW secret characters: Snowman, Elf, Pudding, Reindeer, Tio de Nadal / Tió de Nadal, Birthday Kid and Grabling of the Clicker Heroes game by Playsaurus. It's time for the Crossy Road Xmas.

I finally got the purple bloop!👾 I swear it's so frustrating and I raged so many times but I finally got it! It's harder than it looks.
I have tried so hard, and I haven’t been able to reach a Level 35 or higher to beat. Thanks for the video, and wish me luck on getting the character!
Cheeeeeeeerio! 😀Today is a great day. I got purple bloop👾 I got to level 39 and beat my high score at the same time. My tip is to not watch the levels and just play as normal and try and beat your record. It worked for me. Many thanks.
I tried it, but my Hudl is a laggy piece of crap, and I can never unlock the character. My high score is 229, I once got about 201, and I was only defeating level 21's and 1's. I'm never gonna unlock that f*cking character.

If anyone's having trouble getting the purple bloop like me, I suggest try get up to the level 41. I didn't get him before even though I had 36. So hope that helped anyone. :)

i wondered why i had purple bloop so i searched it on youtube and apparently it’s kinda rare lol
When I downloaded the Christmas update from Amazon, it didn't even update the old version. It just added a new Crossy Road app.
On the way to win the purple Box i won the crab too, that's super!

By unlocking purple bloop use the grablin character and beat your high score , simple as that

I have a suggestion, African Update. Mascots: Elephant, Hippo, Lion, Tiger, Cheetah, Aardvark, Antelope, Jackal, Rhino, Vulture. Secret Mascots: Wildebeest, Hyena, Lemur, Leopard, Stork, Alligator, Jaguar.

Just wanna let you know I don't think you have to kill an enemy that's level 35 or above. I just got purple bloop and the highest level enemy I had was 34. I think you have to just kill 35 enemies.

I got purple bloop and i called it purple blob by mistake lol xD
mine is so annoying. every time it starts with chicken level 1, I move forward until the chicken dies but then it just stays like that. no other characters pop up, it’s just the chicken and an empty level bar no matter how many times I move forward!!
What the heck? I got a new high score and killed a Level 35 Baby Duck, but no Purple Bloop.

I'm never going to unlock Purple Gloop because the game never gives me a level 35. It always gives me a level 25, then it gives me a level 1 or 2. I f*cking hate how we have to unlock the character. Can't we just get 25+ or just not have the levels of the characters that you're fighting against downgrade?

I hate myself. I was fighting a level 37 penguin and my dumbass jumped in front of a car.
I beat two character, over level 35 and didn't receive purple bloop.
but it did show up on the Amazon device I installed it on the fire stick and the rap and character and the blob did show up maybe it only works on Amazon devices?

Why isn't the update out yet?
Currently it's out of Android on the Amazon Appstore, once Apple approves the update, it will be out for iOS, mostly likely within the next 7 days. Google Play will also take some time.
