Thanks to him I try to think more positive now, which is quite hard because I'm already suffering from major depression for quite some years. But it's already helping me. To the Netherlands, UK and Spain, we are here in this together
1:29 is just pure class. Germany and the UK- two of the 5 nations that donate to the EBU and they both came in the last two positions with Spain and the Dutch. That's photo is what Eurovision is- a community. It is a disgrace that both didn't get any televotes. Especially James- he's song was top 15 at the worse. The Belgium's also got 'nil point' at the televotes also. I just hope they all went on a pub crawl around Rotterdam because they're the true winners. Being able to get the middle finger by over 150 million viewers and still strung it off with a smile as like it's nothing. I really hoped they went to their own winners party that night. But pure class by Germany- it just shows that the 'old Eurovision' based upon values, community and respect is still there at least in their founding members
Fyr og Flamme crying breaks my heart too... 😭 I can't believe they didn't pass in a weak semifinal. If they were in the first I would have probably understood the result, but not in the second
I am going to highlight your comments about Portugal not because I am portuguese but because they were really really spot on. We do our thing in our own time. We might send a pop song, a reggae, a balad , a rock, heavy metal, rap, electronic, experimental ...whatever. If it happens to feel right at the time of selecting a song we are good to go but never because it is an eurovision trend or necessarily an eurovision friendly genre. Also as we have artists that sing in different languages do not be surprise that at some point we send a song in spanish, french, italian or other. It will depend of who wrote the song and/or also the composer and the singer.
IF WE LIKE TO SHARE, BOTH THE MONEY AND THE THINGS WE HAVE ... The money we share and the treasures we share will not decrease, Sodakoh ... Or the term gives something, either money or property that we have ... Give to orphans, or poor people around us. It will not make our wealth or our money decrease, instead it will make our money and property increase ... Logically speaking, the amount of money we have is decreasing .. But this is proof of our faith in a God who is all-compassionate ... Alloh swt ... Allah will replace our money and property, ten times if our money and property, we use to help and help the suffering of the poor ... And the orphans in our neighborhood. We will never know, Allah changed our money or our property from whom and where ... Only we will feel that God really replaced our money that we have donated to the orphans ... Helping the poor in our environment. Our fortune is getting more and more, we are stingy with the poor and do not want to share, Then our fortune will feel narrow. The more we enjoy sharing money with orphans, and the poor around us ... Then our fortune will increase. That is the promise of Allah SWT ... which is said in the Qur'an ...
The hug between Germany and Britain simply shows how they both get along and that they lost together ... Just great. PS: I think it's absolutely terrible that Greece and Cyprus give each other the 12 points every year and thus land them in really good places ... The British song was worlds better than the one from Greece and Cyprus put together! And James just got 0 points ... That's unbelievable
I think that Cyprus was actually robbed of higher place, and Greece is still way better then UK. The problem for UK was that they had a mediocre song in a year that was dominated by strong hitters like Italy, Ukraine, Malta, France, Iceland...., like if this was any other worse year he would've gotten points. Also the staging and costume design were just awful.
I hate countries that vote for their neighbours even though they are not good. The reason we got the jury back was the voting for neighbours. But I feel some countries do not care that they should vote for the song and not the country
Had kids been in control of the voting Im quite sure Jendrik would have gotten good scores cause every kid Ive met or heard about that knows the song just loves it lol :)
Actually I don't think Embers is a but song, but the staging was just a mess. BBC should reconsider whatever they're trying to do here at ESC. And I feel really sorry for James tbh.
Actually this was not the worse song on the night, and the fact that scooch actually scored more for us than embers is a complete and utter joke, embers was so much better than flying the flag 🙈
It was an average song with an average performance. Look at some of the really popular acts like Italy, France Switzerland, Finland, Ukraine... the songs were all strong in their different ways, the staging stood out, the artists owned the stage. Sadly James didn't capture that same energy!
I feel kind of sorry for James, yeah the song wasn't that great comparing to others and he had problem holding on a note but the staging was really good with those dancers and trumpets. I'm pretty sure this song will play on the radio through out the summer
Seeing Montaigne with the Torres Straight Islander flag (the blue and green one) (and of course the rainbow, trans and Aboriginal ones). Torres Straight Islanders get basically no recognition (they are not Aboriginal Australian, that's different) and it honestly made my day even though I'm not Indigenous.
Switzerland is also my winner, but Italy is also in my high places and we have to be fair, they really deserve a victory after serving quality year after year.

WTF? I was completely insulted and melted in sadness. I loved U.K. Song and performance. In not the only one who did and I’m not trying to spread conspiracy theories, but it isn’t possible that one vote for U.K. Wasn’t even casted. What happened there?
Probably some votes were casted, but not enough to be in any countries' top 10. Full results are shown in the official page. And let's be honest, the staging was terrible.
Lots of votes were cast but there was only a certain amount of points that could be allocated. For example UK was voted 14th by the Polish jury, but 14th isn't high enough for points. On average the UK came in around position 20-22 depending on whether it was the public or jury vote.... they simply didn't make enough combined votes to score any points.
Italy's huge 500 point public vote pushed them from the bottom to the 1st rank like a hurricane :D :D And again politics involved in Eurovision this year like for Azerbaijan, Israel and UK.
Italy (huge 318 public points) from 4th place (with 2 points difference with 3rd) is not pushing them from the bottom to top. Azerbaijan, Israel and the UK all got low points from the Jury and from the public. Also Azerbaijan and Israel making it to the final debunks your conspiricy theory... Dramatizing things much?
Which moments would you add to this video? Comment!!

I liked his song and he's making me happy.
Gjon's reaction to not getting first is so unbearably wholesome
Fyr og Flamme crying breaks my heart too... 😭 I can't believe they didn't pass in a weak semifinal. If they were in the first I would have probably understood the result, but not in the second
The monent I noticed that the winning song was gonna be performed shirts-off is when I felt HUGE relief that the UK didn't win!
12 Points go to Ja Ja Ding Dong!!
Double 0 points for UK was so cruel 😢
The money we share and the treasures we share will not decrease,
Sodakoh ...
Our fortune is getting more and more, we are stingy with the poor and do not want to share,
Then our fortune will feel narrow.
The more we enjoy sharing money with orphans, and the poor around us ...
Then our fortune will increase.
That is the promise of Allah SWT ... which is said in the Qur'an ...
Vasil comforting a crying Lesley in the greenroom after they did not qualify was wholesome. He was keeping the tears in.
awww a big kiss and hug from Portugal!! Thank you!
YOU JUST MADE ME CRY! THANK YOU! I am from Portugal and I agree with you :)
Hurricane running to Damiano to kiss him after they announced he won 😂😂😍 we would have done the same thing lol
12 points from just one country's jury, doesn't make much of a difference.
The rest of the Balkans seem to vote for each other but no one seems to care...and 12 points from one country doesn't make much difference.
@@MCFan96 Yes, the 12 points are theoretically not that much of a difference ... but they just do it every year
I hate countries that vote for their neighbours even though they are not good. The reason we got the jury back was the voting for neighbours. But I feel some countries do not care that they should vote for the song and not the country
Had kids been in control of the voting Im quite sure Jendrik would have gotten good scores cause every kid Ive met or heard about that knows the song just loves it lol :)
It sounds a lot like a JESC song
I'm too close to 50 for my liking, child-free, and absolutely loved the song. Such a HAPPY song, and a good message.
the UK should have expected a poor response with this song Embers... its SO basic and literally did not stand out at all
Actually I don't think Embers is a but song, but the staging was just a mess. BBC should reconsider whatever they're trying to do here at ESC. And I feel really sorry for James tbh.
Actually this was not the worse song on the night, and the fact that scooch actually scored more for us than embers is a complete and utter joke, embers was so much better than flying the flag 🙈
@@benjamintic3653 they did use pyros
@@benjamintic3653 he used pyros throughout his performance not just the end
It was an average song with an average performance. Look at some of the really popular acts like Italy, France Switzerland, Finland, Ukraine... the songs were all strong in their different ways, the staging stood out, the artists owned the stage. Sadly James didn't capture that same energy!
You are the best James! I will play your song for years.
Lithuania is so underrated! I love The Roop
The o point does not make me smile 😱 I'm French but the televoting which gave the first place to Italia was so amazing! It was so exciting 😂👌🏻😀
omg i loved norways entry with "Grab the moment" outro you put there!
So true this was amazing Eurovision
I really wanted to switzerland to win beacuse he singed from his heart
💤💤💤💤
Me too, but I am still so happy for Italy. Both songs are amazing!
italy singed from his heart too...
He sang from his core...
@@blossomfg Italy had a rock song that wasnyt from heart
Thank you for your kind words, for the Portuguese song :)
JOWST - Grab the moment - Been so long since I heard that song, I love it so much!!!
Torres Straight Islanders get basically no recognition (they are not Aboriginal Australian, that's different) and it honestly made my day even though I'm not Indigenous.
ikr all the flags made me so happy
again politics spoiling eurovision
I love your commentary as well! It’s super nice and positive
Hey I respect that intro song very much, one of my favorites >->
Rotterdam did a good job🥳✌️
Absolutely. It was a magnificent show.
I do still think Switzerland should have won, but at least the song was not bad, you know compared to other years, (Israel 2018)
Switzerland is also my winner, but Italy is also in my high places and we have to be fair, they really deserve a victory after serving quality year after year.
Same here!
Poor natalia, but i feel that even she was laughing inside, once she picked the mic. Her huge smile and her "nothing happen" attitude was just sweet.
These were great moments. You picked them very well. Thanks for well-thought your comments as well.
The german and british singer were literally happier than Maltas Diva
Missing the hug between serbias women and the Italian singer...
What made me smile most is all the off stage videos of all the contestants dancing like crazy during Ukraine's performance!
1:35 "not being able to sing EUROOPEEE"? why? why didnt she sing that part? was so good in semifinal
1:28 and just statement: you are SO right!
I loved the german song, you can dance to it while quite drunk! Did not like the UK song and I'm from the UK! Italy deserved to win.
i miss eurovision :'(
And EfenTix

Natalia dropping her mic didn’t make me smile, I felt bad for her
Its how proffesionally she handled it
She kept on smiling! Natalia's positive energy is absolutely infectious ❤☺
I love my dear country named Portugal and I can't live with no Eurovision
And the little guy from Greece as well
I still don't know who Flo Rida is and why this was so special to many people
The artist singing Titanium with Afrojack is Glennis Grace and OH MY GOD SHE IS STUNNING and a Great singer, flawlessly singing Whitney Houston's songs. Check her out !
Middle Finger dance ✌️😅
Id personally like you to play jaja ding dong
The Netherlands didnt go for points haha, they just wanted to show the dutch world outside of wooden shoes and cheese.
if i dint know it,id have thought this was south africas entry!
Yeah because there is a whole world here outside cheese and wooden shoes 🇳🇱😎
Italy's huge 500 point public vote pushed them from the bottom to the 1st rank like a hurricane :D :D And again politics involved in Eurovision this year like for Azerbaijan, Israel and UK.
Italy (huge 318 public points) from 4th place (with 2 points difference with 3rd) is not pushing them from the bottom to top. Azerbaijan, Israel and the UK all got low points from the Jury and from the public. Also Azerbaijan and Israel making it to the final debunks your conspiricy theory... Dramatizing things much?
Jaja Ding Dong 😂😂😂
If I was James, i’ld of done worse than spill a little bit of beer, lol
what made me smile? jowst song in this vid :3
1:04 Is that a pan flag?
nice
Bro just one think, don’t say “omg” in unnecessary way pls
Afrojack AND GLENNIS GRACE
Ace comments. Cheers
James didn't deserve 0 points. :'( The UK (BBC) definitely did tho.
