Thanks Kent, these videos were pretty tricky to make at the time, it was part of my way of coping I suppose. I'm just glad if they help anyone else who finds themselves in the same position I was.
Wow. Thank you for sharing your journey so openly and honestly. Unfortunately, I have witnessed similar situations with some of those I love the most. It's a terrible disease. You obviously possess great strength and bravery. Keep it up. Keep fighting. Keep running the race. You are in my thoughts.
This is so courageous of you to still make videos like this. Keeping us updated allows us to at least feel and understand even a small amount of what you're going through. Keep your head up and keep fighting the good fight.
Martin - you are strong and brave to share. Thank you! This was hard to watch and glad that you are feeling better. Praying for a full recovery for you. Take good care, my friend.
Hi Martin, not to repeat what others have already said - i’ll simply say “wow”. I did pick up what you said in one of your previous run videos - I knew it wasn’t clear sailing at that time. I’m so glad you’ve turned the corner. A sharp one at that. Waiting for your next installment. Thanks again always for sharing your journey. Wayne
Sounds like you’ve had a rough time Martin, but hopefully through the worst of it and your certainty looking much better. Wishing you a speedy recovery 💪🏻
So the trouble with your bladder lead to a second operation. I’m so glad you were able to get that done immediately. Hope the second operation went well ❤️ again, thank you for sharing this
I love how open and honest you're being sharing this journey with all of us - the good, bad and ugly. You have such an amazing attitude with it all. Wishing you a speedy recover still after that operations and sending you lots of good vibes!
It has all been said by others Martin. Sounds like you went through the mill with that one. Glad you are now feeling a bit better and I hope your recovery continues. Don't try to do too much too soon, I am sure we will see you out on your mad mountain runs before long. All the best friend.
You are so strong and so inspiring my friend! Sounds like a rough ride but your honest reporting is going to help a lot of people. I wish you a quick recovery! Keep pushing!
Thank you for sharing my friend, it's really amazing how you are dealing with this situation, you are so strong man, keep pushing. I wish you a quick recovery!
Wow, thanks for keeping it so real and honest. These are such difficult topics to discuss for a lot of people, but your efforts are helping to normalize the discussion, which I believe is SO important to helping others seek out proper medical and mental health care. So glad to hear you continue to be on the mend :) - E
@@TheDeterminedRunner I am glad you're on the up mate! I am starting to get withdrawal symptoms from not seeing your beautiful scenery on my screen. Take care mate and keep playing that lottery! 😎🤘🏻
Well your looking good at the end of the video except for the last picture of you in the bed at the hospital! Hang in recovery is a difficult thing. Best wishes with the recovery!
I have been told that I wasn't a typical case following surgery & recovery, so hopefully, things will be more straightforward for you. I know lots of people that have had treatment & it's been a lot smoother for them. I seemed to be the very small % they talk about.
Thank you for all your transparency and honesty throughout the process Martin. I can't believe the set back you experienced. Have you looked into medical marijuana? Is that legal where you are? When I broke my back, ribs and wrists, it really helped with pain and sleep, just a thought.
Hang in there Martin! Walking is absolutely awesome! Sorry that you went through shock after your surgery. I wonder if the spasm was just a reflex from everything going on? Sorry that the spasms got worse. You gotta listen to your body if you feel the need to go into the hospital don’t hesitate ❤️. You’re an absolutely champ for sharing all of this with us. I have so much respect for you. Keep telling yourself that YOU WILL CONQUER THIS! Because you will! 🙏🏾💜
I'll be honest I could not watch the whole thing.. I was cringing with empathetic pain. We're a similar age and I fear I may need the same thing someday too.
I think I've been a bit unlucky post op, apparently it's usually much more straightforward, even with my experience it's still much more preferable than if they hadn't caught it early. Thanks for watching Greg 👍
Strong 💪 and very respectful, courageous, important information and I really appreciate this sir thank you and god bless you.

You're looking a lot better Martin. Sounds like you've been through the wringer though!! Looking forward to your next upload.
Cheers Jim, on the whole feeling a better, saying that the past 12 hours have been a bit duff, but duff periods are getting fewer 👍
Ah mate, sounds hard to get through, you're really positive about it all! Think I'd be in bits.
Thanks Ian, it was bloody hard at points but going as it should now (thankfully)
Sounds like you really went through it.
It wasn't as straight forward as I thought it was going to be
