That's a head gasket fail mate, I drive these new ones daily since they first came out, they have a known issue. Vw garage mechanic admitted it to me. They also suffer seriously from drive shafts failure at 30,000 miles. My 2021 trendline has been done 3 times and the head once! Good luck mate I hope it's a blown pipe but I doubt it.

I left a comment on that video saying "might not be exactly how I would of done it but really enjoyed the build". I'm enjoying watching you progress, learn and how you overcome challenges. Your new van looks great. Can't wait for future videos. Keep your videos entertaining, educating and honest. Can't wait to see the final product.
Nice easy fixes. I hope the coolant issue a big issue. Can you please do some sort of an out row as your vids finish very abruptly and doesn’t give me the chance to like the vid. (Sorry to be a pain 😄) can’t wait to see how the build progresses.

It was a split pine under the header tank

Well happy. They even fixed moat of it. The coolant leak was a hose split

Hi Mate, im nervous for your regards the Coolant loss,gulp!! I hope it is nothing serious - VW can be very expensive - Fingers crossed for you buddy.

You should of let the van go at this point return it and get a Vw crafter with the Sprinter body they have more parts available for customisation
It's taken my brother-in-law the best part of £6000 to sort his 2012 Crafter out. They're shite.....over complicated to meet EU laws.
This will be a budget build first. A grand and a month haha

Even more reason to avoid these newer vehicles. The build quality is crap and are very expensive to fix when they go wrong.
