it is kinda funny to see Arma from an 'outside perspective' I played the original (or as it was known then, Operation Flashpoint) as a child (the miraculous Xbox port of it), before I ever played Halo, so I guess the franchise seems more intuitive to me.
We thought babysitting marines as Chief was a chore... turns out the marines had way more of a challenge on their hands dealing with civvies. XD What a bunch of badasses!

Yeah the mod doesn't have tanks for Ini's really and the Scorpion retextures that other mods add take like 10+ rockets to kill no matter what side you shoot so most settle for retextured Arma assets that had Halo graphics and symbols on them.
A really love seeing a new guys perspective to arma. It brings me back to the times when I was new and everything was intimidating. Its really easy to forgot just how intimidating arma is to new players. The controls are complex, the engagements are all from long range (in comparison to most other shooters), every bullet is deadly and the battlefield seems like pure, uncontrolled, chaos. You're never sure where you're getting shot from, or when combat is gonna start or end. Its all just so unique and overwhelming, but also incredibly fun. There's nothing else like it on that market. And I think that's a large part of why arma veterans stick around, even once everything is known and no longer scary. You can't get the arma experience anywhere else, and that's what makes it a real treat.
Just FYI, Arma simulates bullet physics so realistically that whatever hit you that third time might've been a ricochet. Off a tree, off another soldier... hell, it could have bounced off dirt and landed on you after an upward arc. Battle is crazy, yo.
@@chrisgratton6436 He was slightly up hill of the trench line most times so any round that went high or ricocheted where pelting them and don't ask me why but OPTRE 9.5x40mm battle rifle rounds go strait threw trenches and 12.7x99mm (.50cal) don't.

Can I just say: I have pretty severe ADHD. It takes a lot to keep me focused on anything. But you have to be the best story teller on this entire platform. The way you can weave together narratives makes it so engaging to listen to. From one ADHD man to another, thank you.
