There’s actually a reason why you frequently encounter Zucker. You have an even chance of getting any species, but from there you have an equal chance of any member of that species. Since octos have the lowest villager count, you’re the most likely to run into any given octopus. This is exasperated by the fact that Pelican Bay has the other two octos. Essentially, you had the same chances of running into Zucker as getting literally any frog.

i’m just rewatching this vid over a year later for fun lol but the reason she got zucker so much is because when you go to a nmt island, the villager you randomly get is first chosen at random by species (each species has an equal chance of getting picked), then from there a random villager is picked out of the species. so, since she already has the other two octopus villagers, they can only give her zucker when the octopus is randomly chosen through the game code

You get zucker a lot because of how AC decides what villager is on the island. First they choose one species out of the 35, then if they choose octopi, there are only 3 villagers to choose from, plus on this island you already have an octopus, so there are only 2 to choose from, thats why zucker is so common!

I have Ribbot on my island. Hes a jock frog who I love. I find it funny how the frogs are coded to not wear raincoats when it rains but Ribbot would be die when that happens
