As someone who has autism and often has trouble speaking, I appreciate Wardell. I often feel like people pressure me to talk more which is really uncomfortable for me, and it's often really hard to do, so I appreciate whenever I see an NPC in a game that doesn't say much, even if they weren't really meant to represent verbal struggles. Plus he's shaped like a friend, it's hard not to love Wardell!
Edit: I'm so happy to see so many people who think similarly and who also can relate to this, it feels really warming to see such an open minded community that's so supportive!
This is amazing
Even as a person who doesn't have autism (or at least not CONFIRMED autism), but is more reserved and a quiet kid at school, Wardell is my absolute vibe.

I know what you mean! I don't have autism, but I do have horrible social anxiety and am a generally shy and introverted person, so it's very difficult for me to communicate with others, as well. Honestly, Niko is adorable and I love him, but I personally love Wardell so much more. He's so precious! It helps that I believe he's a manatee, and manatees are one of my favorite animals. 😊
This dlc makes me appreciate some of these villagers so much more.
As a person who is, yes I admit, ADDICTED to the DLC, I have gone really far in it already. Eventually you get to use your own ideas, partitions, soundscapes, lighting colours, and choose your flooring ammount! If I could summarise it in one sentence : It’s a once-in a lifetime experience, and probably the best update ANCH has even had.
Do you need Nintendo online for it?

as someone who absolute adored happy home designer for the nintendo ds, this makes me sooo happy! how detailed it is and everything is so pretty, truly can't wait to download it and live out my interior design dreams.. if it replicates hhd, you should be able to return to previous homes and redesign the way you want!
I accidentally bought it last night (that's not a joke I was waiting till my next paycheck to buy it) and I really like it. I'm not very good at art so interior and exterior decorating might just be my calling. I love how they just give you the items they want and you have free rein to place them where ever and however you want the only limit is your imagination.
Raven at the end of yesterday's stream: "I'm going to take the rest of the day off from AC."
Also Raven: "Technically at midnight it's a different day."

I'm honestly in love with the fact there's a TH-camr playing this that doesn't take up every little space in the yard and house with furniture and florals. Just keeping it easy and simple.
I have loads of room left in the houses but they are never complete unless I put a million hanging closer in the house

when i did Eloise's home, i decorated it for an HOUR and there's still things i want to add to it. some of the clip scenes it shows of her in her house were so cute! i added a tea table and it showed her sitting at it drinking coffee, and n another scene she was sat on her rocking chair reading! Eloise is so cute i want her on my island!
That’s how I feel about all the houses I decorated so far lol! I’ve spent so long on them but there’s still so much I’d like to add, especially as I unlock more and more :)

The trio of Lottie, Wardell and Niko is amazing, wonderful chemistry, probably my favorite characters in AC. They actually feel like they have life, they're all friends working together and even small things like Niko daydreaming to be a traveler too. it's all amazing
The funnest part of this game is when the curated items tell a story and inspire you. I worked on Eloise's room for a bit and love how it turned out.
My first villager Poppy visited just I unlocked partitions and I was able to use them with an accent room to make it look she had her door open with a mountain view.
Having so much fun with the dlc and update.
Aww, I love this DLC! It's like "creative mode" for Animal Crossing! Definitely gunna buy it!

Every day you come back, wardell will start to bond with you! (like sable) and when he trusts you, you get a cutscene where you sit with wardell and talk ITS ADORABLE!
I was customizing furniture last night at Harv's island and I was so happy when I realised that you can customise other than just the stuff bought with nook miles! It makes my life so much easier!! I'm even more in love with this game!! Aahhh!!!

Fun fact: if u have the amibos of the older ac characters (that aren’t in the dlc) u can invite them to the caffe and they have NEW DIALOGUE…. For example if u invite Phylis then even Peter might come and if u invite anyone from kappn’s family the WHOLE FAMILY WILL COME. And they have lots of new dialouge. Yes you need the amibo for this but they can walk in randomly as well. That will need pAtIEncE and a lot of it but it will happen.

I love this DLC not too long ago i finished my 10th house! And I only did 1 joke house because Lionel wanted a "Restroom refuge" and the keyword he gave was "toilet", so I filled the house with toilets.
Did the same. And made his yard all golden toilets

I picked 2 floors to fill the upstairs with the toilets

Hello Raven! Just a tip, if you want to make your island villagers a vacation home, you can either used their amiibo, or buy the little snacks that are always in the bottom left of the shop in lottie's place and give them to one of your villagers at your island. Then they should suggest the idea of you make a vacation home for them!
For the indoor cutscene… you need to tell them you’re done in the house

I love the dlc its awesome i can see myself playing for a while but i kinda also feel that i would get a little tired doing the same thing over again for a while but its so adorable so that would keep me going

I'm glad this is exactly like in happy home designer, but it takes me about and hour to decorate one house, and the outside as well.
You get more items the more you decorate and I kinda forgot about that when I invited Bob and I didn't get to give the type of furniture I would've wanted. He wanted a greenery house or something so I'll probably won't invite my favourite villagers just yet until I get more items!

when you do more clients, go to the back of the island where the log is and you can see past clients there.
I got Eloise and my reading room isn’t nearly as nice but that’s why I bought the dlc to improve my decor skills

lottie: it looks amazing me: but all i put in the house was a carpet and one chair niko: i help you raven
Wardell doesn’t talk much, so he doesn’t say “go team”, wardell and niko are life tho
I like the DLC because its nice getting off the island of stress and getting to relax, design homes, and not have to worry about anything
