"Any more and we'll be able to stage a production of bloody Watership Down!" I've always LOVED that line. Hilarious.

Me too. Why can't we have comedy of this standard anymore?

      Yes I agree too.
On a par with one foot in the grave quote by victor meldrew.
Over ordered garden gnomes all outside, he said "it's like rush hour in munchkin land out there!

Do the British have any concept of how adored and appreciated this, and certain others, are in America? Sometimes I feel certain those of us (great in number) that are truly Anglophile (with terrific and hereditary reason) may not be known to you that take Dame Patricia Routledge, and those that sail within her, somewhat for granted. God bless, and thank you for sharing.

"If I'd have known that being a vicar would involve dressing up in a rabbit costume, I would have taken up prostitution. As indeed my headmistress originally suggested. Mind you, I would have also ended up dressing as a bunny then." 😂🐰

My primary school teacher was horrified when she heard that I watched this. Mind you, I probably wouldn't have understood a lot of the jokes then. For instance, I remember her line about wanting Simon's testicles on a skewer, but I didn't know what testicles were at the time, and even if I had I certainly wouldn't have understood why she wanted them skewered!

@@Inkyminkyzizwoz 🤣 that's funny!! When me and my son used to watch it, I think he was around 15 to 17 years old. He's 36 now and we still talk about the show and watch it when possible. Also, we loved watching Red Dwarfs too. I don't know if you've seen that one or not. Sometimes he will send me (out of blue) the opening tune to Red dwarfs and we'll joke around every once while trying to talk like the Vicar of Dubley LOL

@@Emrys91 Oh , so in order to let you enjoy your little show, you expect me to put away my convictions, yes sure, this is definitely going to happen . Sorry i have more respect for animals than for comedy shows, and there is that other thing we have in the UK (besides comedy shows) which is freedom of speech and opinion. So how about instead of boring the fuck out of me with your rant, you just ignore my comment , piss the fuck off and get on with your life you fucking self-righteous twat .

@@morganolfursson2560 there was no need to comment on it was there? I dont go on every kill scene from horror movies and state how wrong it is to kill others.
It was a viual gag. No rabbits were harmed in the making of this show.
Also rabbits breed like crazy. With out prey or human intervention they'ed breed them selfs to death. Ie breed so fast that they eat all the food.
If you want to look at over population google rabbit island. Its a Japanese island filled with nothing but rabbits. They all come from just a handful left there after WWII. The only way they live is all the visiters that pay to visit and feed them.
