A bill should also be introduced on raising the educational standard as one of the eligibility criterion to contest various elections in India. The changing times need MPs MLAs having no less than a Masters degree in various fields & the Cabinet Portfolios should be assigned according to their specific traits. State election commissioner is chosen by state govt still like west Bengal govt chose for panchayat elections recently. Supreme court didn't interfere in that, it only targeted Central government in this rule. That shows open bias against ruling central govt in this order. So govt is right to bring this ordinance. Hypocrisy ki bhi koi seema hoti hai.. that's why you didn't talk about state govt still able to chose their own election commissioners.

Once the proper bill is passed they will not be involved...
Commitiy will include member from opposition, person from ruling government recommended by PM.
