Dr Lisa Nolland runs “Marriage, Sex and Culture” a group that enables supporters of real marriage to interact online and via regular meet-ups. She joins me to discuss why the group exists and how people can get involved. You can watch our full discussion here:
Lisa addresses the concerning trend in mainstream media to tone down the damage associated with our sexualised culture, and stresses the importance of promoting the clear benefits of real marriage. She highlights the urgent need for leadership in addressing these cultural shifts and protecting our values.
A key emphasis from Lisa is the impact that cultural changes are having on children. “Sexually active kids suffer”, she says, advocating for the promotion of chastity and the significance of saving sex for marriage. She calls on parents and church leaders to be more vigilant and proactive in educating their children, instead of leaving it entirely to the State.
Lisa encourages those who feel isolated in their views to connect with her group, reassuring them that there are many people like them who feel alone in their stance on traditional marriage.
