- Brad Keselowski and Chris Buescher spoke to the media before Sunday's Cup race at the Iowa Speedway. Keselowski had glowing praise for Truex as a driver and person, and he said he will be sad to see Truex away from the sport full-time.

Cole probably wanted to enjoy his life outside nascar but James small is a bad crew chief and is the reason why truex is retiring
He’s said very publicly he didn’t like living in NC. He went to Front Row for a reason. He loved living in Colorado and being removed from the racing scene and weather of Charlotte. He went back to Charlotte for one year when the 78 team folded and Truex went to the 19. Ultimately it wasn’t a fit for his family. He bought a ski resort up north and moved back. That simple.

He totally does! Brad is the one guy in the field who, IMO, cares the most about the sport as a whole. He knows the impact of something like this but on the other hand, what can he say? He said some kind words and that's about all ya can do
