Lisandro is such a legend - played with him a bit at the Star Sydney.
Doesn't stand for anything. Can't ever imagine telling him he missed his ante.
Anyone read his book about playing with the Mob?

The problem is the solver it isn't the gizmo it is the GTO player who is a bore, won't talk, just sit there, and drains the life out of the game.

They're a huge problem. It's amazing it never even crosses their mind to think about why bad players play and to give them something for their money.

Not as much of a threat as stables.

It's always a coinflip isn't it? Whether Connie comes in with a hot and spicy "WHUT'S POPPIN' EVERYBODY!?!?" or a calm and almost reserved "What's popping, everybody?"

It is simple: Remember when you were in high school and you got the answers for the test from someone else? That was cheating and intellectual laziness. That is what a solver is...a form of cheating and laziness. Remember when all the OG poker players who launched the boom? They didn't use solvers! Some people are generally lazy and want work done for them by others. Don't want to shop, call Amazon...screw learning to cook, call DoorDash...(blah blah blah...hey Gen Z'ers, and millennials..."You're Boring"!

I personally love the length, bc there's depth to the conversations. Less means superficial, same old discussions.
The only thing holding the guests back now is allegiance to an operator or hopes of a sponsorship.
Now we need to find a brave pro willing to personally sacrifice for the good of the community.
