@@MissCarMil I liked using clear or tortoiseshell claws and ALL the butterfly clips in various sizes and colors in random spots all over the front. I felt especially fancy if I could match my shirts to my butterfly clips too. LOL

Yea, but then I like that idea because there are a variety of options. For example, if your hair cant hold one you can find another one that looks very similar that does work for your hair!
i remember claw clips they'd like never sit right in my hair. like the cute fan updo on my friends, i have a lot of hair so it can be hard to work with at times. i was proud of myself for learning how to Dutch and lace braid

Such a struggle! My hair too thick too. Only a ponytail for me means that the clip can even close at all.
Use metal clips! I found some nice ones on Amazon, works really well!
