I've read and loved so many of the books you mentioned in this video and I can't believe I didn't even realize many of them had virgin heroes! 😍Really enjoyed this video so much. Also, I picked up the Fae king's Curse on your recommendation and I absolutely ADORED it. I read the prequel too and can't wait for the next book in the series. Wish more people read it! That makes me so happy! Yes, I love when people can figure things out together. Sexual experience is different for each person anyway. So... I get annoyed when people are treated poorly for either.

I love this trope so much! My favourites by far are Duchess War, Unclaimed, and This Wicked Gift by Courtney Milan, Dark Needs At Night's Edge by Kresley Cole (I am so glad I'm reading this series!), Highwayman by Kerrigan Byrne, The Texan's Wager by Jodi Thomas, and Love In the Wild by Emma Castle. And I am so glad to have more recommendations like this 🙂 I really need to start the Psy-Changeling and Bridgerton series' now.

You know every time I hear you talk about Outlander it makes me wanna read the series so much! But then I start thinking about how there's a lot of books in the series and about how long they all are and I get discouraged. It's really intimidating!

I totally understand that. The plus side is, the first book really can be read a s a standalone. So you could just start there and see how it goes by for you. And she does break all of her books into Parts, so it is digestible. Maybe if you read it on ebook it wouldn't be as overwhelming?

Some of my fav books that have a virgin hero are The Spitfire by Christi Caldwell (historical) and Hefty by Jessa Kane (novella). Both have the cutest cinnamon roll hero’s which I love!

Hello and welcome! Jess is amazing and I am so grateful to her! I actually recently made a video about how I have read 500+ books this year. It was earlier in October.. But the quick answer is that I read in many formats and COVID has kept me home for 9 months... haha. I have no life.

@@ly__chee Psy is a species in Nalini Singh’s Psy-Changeling series. In Caressed by Ice, Judd is a Psy with a wolf changeling (shifter) mate.
Stolen soulmate by Mary Catherine gebhard is also a virgin hero book...it is fantastic, I highly recommend it

Enjoyed this. I wonder if you know the title to a book about a virgin widow who was sexually abused by her first husband who wanted her to bear heirs through his illegitimate son and nd when he died she didn't want to have anything to do with men.
For the first book. Do I have to read the first 3 books before? Or the Bridgerton series to understand? Also a question. A lot of people recommend historical romance books that are like the 3rd or 4th in a series. Is it always necessary to read the books before it or can we read them as a stand alone?
In general, Historical Romance series can be read in any order. There will probably be slight spoilers for previous couples in the series (i.e. who ends up together.) But in romance... people getting together isn't exactly a spoiler. Haha! So it's really up to you as the reader if you care. Because each story itself will have all the info it needs to work.:)

Just a heads up Jock Hero does not have a virgin hero. It's a great book, but it had a virgin heroine and experienced hero.
Yes, I did say Jock Row in the video, on accident. Jock ROAD has a virgin hero. Which is book 3 in the series. Oops!

Every time I remember Diana G saying Outlander isn't a romance I lose my mind.
LOLs. I love the women and I will always be a fan, but she is a romance snob. I think she just doesn't want her story pigeon-holed. But I understand that, since Romance never gets enough respect. But her book was runner up for the greatest read... so who cares where it fits? Its awesome
@@TheBookRefuge NGL she cracks me up. Whenever I'm in a bookstore it's fun to see where they have placed them. Some have them in Romance. Some in General Fiction (??). I'm looking forward to Fated Mates covering it this season!
