So if someone is newly retired with a pension in excess of 80k usd a year, would they have to wait until they have a tax return covering a full year of passive income? Or is there a way to do it sooner?

Would learning thai increase my chances of getting a long term visa or a Thai passport if I want to go that route?

I hate that rich people are just allowed to live in Thailand. I have been trying to figure out how to move there for many years.
