As a German Ship Enjoyer, this is beautiful.
I played my Yammie the other night, and an enemy Venezia was chasing our DD into the A cap. I turned into the A cap because I was playing pretty aggressively, and the Venezia came around the island flat broadside to me and you could almost see the resignation on his ship when he saw me with my front 6 aimed right at his water line. *BOOM* 3 cits, and I erased him from just about full health. That was a good feeling to protect our DD like that. haha

why is my napoli made of paper but when enemy plays it its unkillable
I got a citadel from a Preussen with that one random shell that actually made it over the island. Napoli is just built different
Some cruisers just don't make sense. I play Slava a lot, and I should be deleting them at short range. Napoli is one of them, 8km range, I watch every shell hit the broadside..... 1 pen.
@@gamebrigada2 the amount of times ive slapped a broadside Stalingrad with vermont and done no citadel hits is absurd
The bow armour. It’s super trolly because of the icebreaker, but if an enemy is playing an accurate bb and knows to aim for the upper bow, you eat an insane amount of damage in the ship. Try being more broadside to a bb and turning in when they shoot; sometimes they’ll aim for your broadside instead which will bounce the salvo when you turn in.

love the GK. I just wish we could undo all changes that have been done to the game after the german line came out. That was the hight of the game

Ranked is great because so much less heat from the fewer enemy ships, and using islands to get up close and surprise the enemy works wonders, people are always shocked by my brawling Conqueror
Gk was my favourite ship,but when i got my hands on bourgogne,bourgogne become my new favourite
Same. Hindenburg and Alaska were my favourites a long time. But when i got used to Bourgogne and it smashed my old Hindenburg damage record with 353k (no arms race) there was nothing left for me but to accept her as my new favourite. Such an amazing ship!
This was the ship I was using last night.
Had 4 games in a row. Where I got paired with another GKF and a shimakaze. Perfect 4 game winning streak. It is hard to stop a 2 GKF push and Shima torp game.
After which I switched to the moskva it is great for ranked, so is the grozovoi

Nah that Shimikaze push on the last part was personal, mans tore his entire ship in half
60% of the time it works every time. The sad reality is just the fact that "there's so many fewer player slots meaning the odds of getting a sub/cv is so much lower and only 6 on a team makes it that much tougher to win if more than a few are just crossfire camping" makes ranked that much better.

I’ve started playing and actually not minding GK lately. It started with using it on convoy then dabbling with it in Randoms with the standard full secondary build since it shares a commander with Schlieffen. Definitely not amazing secondary damage most games but it is nice to do constant damage to enemy ships and especially DDs spotted in secondary range. Might be because I’m a better player nowadays than when I got GK and have the ability to think and breathe at the same time while playing wows. GK definitely requires a lot of thought to play well, which definitely feels rewarding knowing you outsmarted and outplayed an enemy instead of just smashing W and dying early like what German BBs usually end up doing.
I use the exactly same build on my GK with one exception. I run the 406 guns. With reload mod, adrenaline rush and close quaters expert you ll get pretty nasty reload times which makes up for the bad accuracy.
@1:20 full salvo did two bounce was peak German RNG.
That shima in the last game was quite amusingly upset
Grossdeutschland is a blast in ranked, the only BB I can really enjoy, unless there's a CV or a sub. im at like 68% WR with it with like 70 games

When you push hard like this which GK guns do you use?
how is he able to get that top down view when shooting...I thought it had something to do with a spotting plane but I cannot make it do it.
Sadly that was me in the petro that he ruined at the start of the 3rd game...
Didnt think he would be able to get the shots over the islands....
However that game was sealed from the start as the first thing the team did was give up once they seen PQ on the enemy team.. also the DD that survived did his best to avoid all combat he could and then just sailed to the far corner.
Sometimes I dont like ranked when it’s repeated ass teams. But I tried playing Vermont in Randoms recently and I got so frustrated I went back to ranked. Its the only semi sane PvP mode I can stand in wows. Brawls are fun too but the recent 5v5 T9 brawl was so abused by divisions.
Oh and Ranked makes farming Halsey heroic achievements wayyyyy easier. Been using Monty but soon I will have Ohio to complete my Halsey campaign

Man the Shima in your team the last game is such a toxic player. He has to chill a bit while playing a game. Cry, but pls for yourself. Flaming and insulting before the game played out and in general wont help anybody. If you think you know how to play better than just give some tipps in a nice manner. (I mean its ranked but still)
When i started with this game i wished people would just give me tipps instead of flaming me about things i did not know.

if only Battleship players would understand that pushing is important. you are tank not just a sniper. otherwise your allies gonna be taken out u gonna blame and then u gonna get take out too. have to find balance of gameplay and adopt
How do you get 1 mil credits in a single game? Did you use booster? I try to grind but I can’t earn enough credits. Do you need premium? I am f2p
which mods do you use? it looks awesome... Preussen vs GK which one is better as per you..
GK. Preussen doesn’t have the mad secondaries that GK does. Schlieffen however does, but she’s a battle cruiser so not as heavily armored.
@@robdog1245 the prussen has the exact same secondaries as the GK. its literally the same ship but having 12 guns vs 8 makes a big difference.
@@jebes909090 Preussen makes up with 30mm overmatch, faster reload and better firing angles. With reload mod, adrenaline rush and close quaters expert Preussens reload can go completely nuts, reaching 16 seconds. This and the other advantages mentioned before made me prefer it over GK. But i understand why many prefer the GK. Because Preussens 8 shells can let you down often.
I just realized that I hopped in on this video when it was only 43 seconds long. O.O
Why use the 420’s if there is no penetration benefit and longer reload? Perhaps I am misinformed.
Some people prefer them because they deal more damage and Yamato sound. But im also in the 406 team. Getting out as many shells as possible helps alot to make up for the bad accuracy.
Try french t10 bb rebup secondary build in ranked. Just as fun
one underrated french/secondary ship has to be the Flandre also

If I'm playing anything German I'm brawling. Could careless about game stats. Got the Armour use it. Montana can brawl well too people just neglect to use that ability. Cruisers also can brawl if you know how to use their armour. I push battleships in the rico, hindy, and the Italian cruiser with the triple turrets all the time
I was the Ohio in the first game... Man that was a painful game for me
I play almost exclusively in ranked now because of no subs or carriers
always infuriating when playing ranked/brawls and your friendly BBs are hanging back/camping somewhere, while the rest of the team gets slaughtered by the enemy pushing through
I see this ship so much now, cool with me I just keep my distance and farm overmatches in my Yammy
I never get those potatoes like here in my games. Most of the times they are in my team. Reds always shown broadside here ... will never understand why pro player always get those MM games.
I find it interesting how so many people want a surface ship only mode. I want it too. Either a mode or new game. Please promote it!! wd need it1
I see that brawling has a different meaning, here it's staying 79 bajillion kilometers away from the other guy, on wot it's putting your gun's hitbox inside the enemy, context is fun
I don't have a big problem with CV's and subs, of course I am not anywhere near as good of player as PQ. To me the best part of ranked is I don't have to worry about meeting a ship of a higher tier.
great ship issue is everyone is playing it at max range thinking its montana or something idk

Why do people keep saying Pressen is the better ship
not saying "better" but hybrid secondary + gun build on it is rather nice, with reload mod its nearly 20s on 457s

i wish i can meet these dds that doesnt know GB hydro range lol so i can rank up easily
and yes.. 6 rounds in a row in a dd, all but me seems to know ranges of hydro and radar to avoid. others just get sunk and its called T11 tier battle lol the iq level of the community went down it seems.. wish i had your luck in mm
