@Analyzing Male Slavery Maybe not in name, but in gameplay, sprites, characters and concept, they are all of part of the same family. But I get what you are saying.
This was the first fighting game I ever played. I still remember the day I inserted a coin and this soundtrack started playing. That day I became not just a gamer, but a Fighter as well. I love the fighting games from the 90´s, they were something more than just a game, the ost, the sprites, the sound effects, even the character select screen, they were developed with such passion that´s almost romantic haha. Even if Arcades are almost dead, the memories will live on in the heart of those who experienced master pieces like this "Marvel Super Heroes" :´) long live the arcade era
When Capcom and Marvel comics team up by making memorable arcade games back in the 90's. Best of times that I've spend in the arcade with my friends!!!
Don't forget the dedicated stages for each characters with awesomes animations. (as for Childrens of the Atom)Later VS titles were poorly finished in comparison.MVC2 had the best roster by far but the gameplay was a clusterfuck in my opinion.
Hypnoz na this game and COTA feel way too slow when I go back to play them now. MvC1 was nearly perfection, I'd kill for a new 2d release like that with a different roster.
MvsC2 is an amazing Game, but It's gameplay's just not better than MSH. Too broken, simplistic damage system (this one feels more sensitiva) quite too much assists dependance, lack of Direct Medium Force in Kicks and Punches affects strategic movement and aproach, and other things.
This game holds a special place in my heart. Anyone else IRKED at how the MCU shuffled the gem color's abilities? After ALL that time I spent trying to memorize the original layout lol.
I never had access to the arcade game as a kid but I had the PS1 port of it so I played on the good old PS1, I also had X-Men vs Street Fighter on PS1 as well which a nice OST as well
The Original MSH tunes are unmatched. Every newer version of those songs are dumbed down each time, until we reach those atrocities in MvsC 3. Wolverine themes at least changed between MSH and the first Marvel vs Capcom. I think MSH Wolverine theme is the best of all of them, they really, really nailed the char's personality/stage
That's EXACTLY what I'm saying to everyone saying "MvC2 is the best".Early VS titles like Marvel super heroes and Children of Atom were MUCH better finished with better music and awesome dedicated stage.MvC2 musics and stage are a joke, zero personality or relation to any characters. That's why I was dispointed by it despite the good roster.
@@hypnoz7871 MVC2 was a grand finale where they just threw almost all of the sprites they had made for the marvel fighting games and some new sprites, it would have taken years to make individual character themes and stages
@@mikaelamonsterland Yes, it would take years. But they could have went with better music for just the stages. Stuff like MSH/MSHvSF/MvC1 style soundtrack, not the weird funky jazz. The MvC2 songs are catchy, memorable and all, but they annoy the hell out of me, except for Abyss stage.
i liked this a lot the first time i tried it but it became probably one of my favorite games in the series after reading the infinity gauntlet. if only we could play as Adam Warlock and Silver Surfer
Hecks yeah esp Adam Warlock! They should've also included many major cast members from the infinity gauntlet comic and also infinity war like quasar and mr fantastic!

One of the most forgotten and underrated capcom soundtracks. Awesome...especially the spidey theme.
totally agree dude
You mean the Game in General, totally underrated, it was awesome.
The best presentation and feeling in all Marvel vs Series@@TheRealKaiProton

Its the GOD of Capcom music: Takayuki Iwai
I remember this back all the way in 95/96 on the arcades. Wow... I feel old.
I don't feel old. I FEEL LIKE A MARVEL SUPERHERO!!! 💪😤
@@logancampos2436 that's the spirit

Here is the best Spiderman's theme version of the entire MvC franchise

Wolverine’s music on this still epic till this day!🔥🔥🔥🔥
This OST has some of Capcom's best music, period.
Its because it is from the GOD: Takayuki Iwai. He was the main composser of most of the fighting games from capcom
I agree. Dope Music. No Doubt!!!

"One's For J.J"
This beat is so cool, they could had make it a full tune in latter games.
Both Dr. Doom and Thanos stage songs are simply the best songs from all Marvel games done by Capcom... Another victory! :D
Done by Takayuki Iwai
So nostalgic! This game has some of Capcom’s best music (which is really saying something).
When Capcom and Marvel comics team up by making memorable arcade games back in the 90's. Best of times that I've spend in the arcade with my friends!!!
7:20 where dr doom theme actually starts
One of the GOAT OSTs. Included the best Wolverine, Magneto and Juggernaut themes.
Captain America and Psylocke's are still my faves
I came here for psylocke’s primarily.
Those two are really bad ass. Magneto and Doom for me.
Don't forget Spider-Man too!
Although gameplay was phased out and improved by later VS. titles, this OST remains as one of Capcom's best musical entries of all time.

This is where the gameplay improvements started, especially the air combos
I remember growing up and seeing this in corner stores, I knew shit was going down when that quarter was inserted
This game holds a special place in my heart. Anyone else IRKED at how the MCU shuffled the gem color's abilities? After ALL that time I spent trying to memorize the original layout lol.
Yes it bothered me for the longest time especially when the green soul gem turned orange, but I'm used to it now. Original MSH Thanos still reigns.
Captain America Theme is killer.
P.S. This game made me fall in love with Psylocke
This game made me fall in love with Thanos
Let's go, bub!
Que recuerdos cuando lo puse en mi emulador :'D
Recuerdo que mi hermano se había equivocado de juego, porque el quería el Marvel vs Capcom para PS1 XD
I never had access to the arcade game as a kid but I had the PS1 port of it so I played on the good old PS1, I also had X-Men vs Street Fighter on PS1 as well which a nice OST as well
It s because both OST were composed by Master Takayuki Iwai
maravilloso trabajo bien editado y gran calidad, LIKE
The art style of this game was too keeeewl
Classic OST......Very Dope!!!!
Psylocke's theme was always my favorite but there are so many other bangers in this game.
In my playlist now, thanks!
Marvel super heroes ost definitely has a bit of a darkstalkers edge to it
"LET'S ROCK!"
このゲーム凄く凄く大好きでした。高校生の頃、セガサターンで遊びまくった…。
Finally after those years I can see all the picture from the boxart of the game. Awesome. I love the tracks of this game, how wonderful was the CPS2!
Que juego tan bonito carajo tan bien hecho planificado perfectamente joyas Infravaloradas porque ya no los hacen asi...

Why is this game called Marvel Super Heroes when there are 6 bad guys in it (and the pseudo neutral hulk) >:c?
