Kevin's second marriage ended after about three years but noted that he's still very good friends with both women. He doesn’t probe. He asked questions based on what the person is seeking.

He is not uncomfortable. He is calculated. Meaning he is careful with his answers. As a college professor, I do this all the time with my students. Being cavalier when someone questions you with leading questions is problematic. You have to evaluate what is asked (and not being asked, but implied), before you respond.
Bingo!!! He has to be careful with his words because he knows that people are going to throw it back in his face especially when he's out here acting high and mighty trying to tell everybody else what to do when he has two failed marriages.

Most of the people that call call to discuss what they want in a relationship and he bluntly tells them their expectations are unrealistic. A 20 year old woman with a high school education called his show and said she wants a man in his 30s making $300K a year to give her all of his time, affection and take care of her. She has nothing to offer him but she wants it all. That's an unrealistic expectation. Him being divorced is irrelevant to the facts he gives people who call his show looking for advice.

You do realize he's way more evolved now than he was back then? He's not the same person. On his show, he speaks from personal experience and from a perspective that you probably wouldn't know about since you've probably never been married nor are 50 years of age.

At the end, Samuels said that current generations just can't get it right. I think a part of that is because more women are working (not to say that this is a bad thing) and our society is more materialistic than previous generations. Plus, we base a lot of our love and beliefs (about love and marriage) on our ever-changing feelings as opposed to the truth of God. A vow to God is supposed to mean more and weigh heavier than your feelings. We, those of us who are religious (especially Christians), don't seem to hold to that as much these days.

@Qendresa Tike more like corporation have figured out they make more money by keeping people single and the great gentleman inventors/pioneers of the past have civilized the world in such a way via technological advancements that it has become more profitable to place all genders in a variety of different roles within the corporate structure regardless if it’s productive or not, this feeds excess and wasteful consumerism so it only makes sense from a business perspective, although for thousands of years up until now it was one way and now that tradition is being gradually dismantled so we’ll see happens next

@Terran Well, I am not saying that it has a complete clean history. But the religion is based off of Jesus who was not violent nor preached it from what has been shared of Him throughout history. We all have to be careful with judging any ideology, philosophy, or religion based off of the abuse done in its name. Christianity was shared and grew because of the good deeds done by those who were followers of Jesus too. Bad was done in His name. And so was good done in His name.

I found it interesting how KS response to why his first marriage failed within a year was that neither were ready ie they were too young. This is never an acceptable excuse or reason for the callers to his show. I respect his overall message but don’t agree with every thing he tells woman and I fully believe we should practice what we preach. I’m not a fan of double standards and would really like to see KS meet his match and be grilled about his failed marriages and why he doesn’t get back with the 2nd ex wife, the way he advises listeners to. 🤔
the callers are usually talking about having babies when they say they were too young, and he says you should wait till you're married to have children, which he himself done whether it worked out or not he didn't break his own advice so at least represent the argument correctly 😉

You didn’t know men and women are different and are held to different standards? Lmao, men gain value with time so they can do whatever they want in their early stages of life as long as it doesn’t impact their life too much… Women don’t gain value with time like men so going back to their exes or baby daddy is their best bet ,especially if they’re over 30, because men with a high value are not going to check for them.

I’m pretty sure he didn’t give up on the marriage. Women file for divorces at exponentially higher rates than men. So in this case, he had a child with and married someone he was probably willing to spend his life with and it ended. He didn’t make any excuses. Most of the women that he interviews are full of excuses and lack accountability. There’s a difference.

Here's the issue though. Women call into KS's show and say that they're divorced. He immediately asks them who initiated it and goes in. So him not wanting to talk about his divorces seems hypocritical to me. Am I missing something? I don't have an issue with his logic, but he's also protecting the women in his life way more than he protects the women that call in. Those women have ex-husbands and families too.
