Shotty The only things that Gothic 3 was missing was the Gothic 1, Gothic 2 / Night Of The Raven atmosphere and the difficulties weren't balanced enough. Though the better AI improved it quite a lot but not exactly. Now back to atmosphere. Gothic 3 didn't have the same feeling as the 2 previous games and the expansion pack. It was missing something from it but I can't explain it.

There may be a few things that can be counted as bug, but i did not look for bugs to use and i knew bugs that i ignored deliberately.
+TheWonderer do you reloaded the savegame before you opened a chest? The music glitched at this points.... do you wanted specific loot so you reload until you get the right things?

Zum Glück war es nur eine eigenständige Erweiterung, das war echt sinnloser Schmarrn, bzw. Abzocke/verzweifelter Moneygrab seitens JoWood, einziger Erfolg ist wahrscheinlich, dass es das mitunter verbuggteste Game aller Zeiten zu Release ist :D Noch mehr falsch als bei Gothic 3 Launch zu machen ist echt unerklärlich.
Man, ich hab so riesig bock auf einen guten gothic teil aber es gibt ja nix. Risen 3 is auch einfach nich so toll, obwohl ich 30 Stunden Spielzeit versucht hab es gut zu finden, es kann den alten Teilen einfach nich das Wasser reichen.
Ich hab Risen noch nicht angespielt, da hab ich zumindest mit Teil 1 noch was schönes vor mir, aber ein geiles Gothic in Zukunft wäre einfach nur mega.

Usually you would need 3 of those lightnings, the same as for Xardas or Zuben, but there seem to be kind of occasional "headshots", where it makes much more damage so that one hit is sufficient, as it happened in this run. I was not attacked, because i lured him to a place without witnesses. (All this is true for patch 1.12, difficulty easy, i don't know how much was changed in later patches).
Just read the description, a segmented speedrun is still a speedrun. A realtime-run would have been hardly possible at the time anyway, because of the bad game performance. While i repeated some segments to get better items from chests with random inventory, i had to repeat most segments just for the sake of reducing the lags.

If he played the current version of Gothic 3 with all the patches that have been made since the releasing of the game, he wouldn't complete it so fast. And he had a little bit of luck since the content of the chests is random. Besides, some minor mistakes. Good run, though. :)

Aber der Inhalt des Spiels is so derp der Rotz, vorallem das Inderdlc.
