Man, I wish this video had gone up a week ago! I threw my netgear brick in the recycle bin last friday.😢
BTW, I will NEVER buy any more gear from that company. Not only did I have problems with the router, but customer service was lackluster to say the least. HIGHLY disappointed....

Understood. I have had great luck with TP-Link the Archer C9 in particular. I use the Netgear and the older TP-Links because they support the DD-WRT firmware which I have tons of fun with. I've been meaning to make this video for a while and it was a bear of a video to get right. It took me four days to shoot, edit, render and post. The video itself is over 10GB in size took 5 hours to render and I had to do it twice! Thank you so much for watching, commenting and the valuable feedback. I appreciate it greatly. @Richard Lloyd HA ha! I replaced that piece of junk with a brand new tp-link AX55Pro! I love it so far. And thank you sir for the content. I have watched several of your videos btw; they are VERY informative.

Try this new recovery method I found, I have not had to do a serial recovery on an R7000 again. It works really well. Here's a link to the video: th-cam.com/video/hXhMgQS5k1o/w-d-xo.html

I have a Netgear 7000 series and it won't go back to factory default after using paper clip over and over again where would a infection hide on a router?

Have you tried these rescue videos: th-cam.com/play/PLnxXRLSlmSVOc3OXtcDSIlfHHFr4VbuFQ.html Try the serial rescue as a last resort if the other two methods don't work. Thank you so much for commenting and watching. I appreciate it greatly. Subscribe, Click The Bell and stay tuned! All the best.👍😀

You got good content, but you keep "Rabbit-Holing" yourself so much, it's difficult to follow due to all that back and forth jawing bullshit. Maybe, you'll might want to make yourself an "Out Line" script to follow when recording, maybe?? (`Probably save everyone, including yourself, a half hour of confusing, "What the Hell did he just do/say?", crap.
