Can I just have Kate Bush sing to me in Irish for the rest of my life, please?

Kate sings a lovely a cappella version of 'My Lagan Love' - another traditional song - which is well worth a listen

That’s a nice song from Kate exploring her Irish roots (her mother was from County Waterford on the south coast). If you are thinking of doing another Kate Bush album review, The Dreaming is the one to do after Hounds of Love.

As others have said, her version of "My Lagan Love" is utterly beautiful, heartachingly so. Yes, it's a complete re-write - but it is Kate Bush after all. And yes, "My Lagan Love" is such a stunningly beautiful melody that it is very hard to completely mess it up - but then, (at least to my mind), Sinead O'Connor managed to do just about that. Kate's version is completely unaccompanied - no backing singers, no instruments, just her and her extraordinary voice.

Suggestion: She's no Kate Bush, but reminds me of her a bit: Laura Jansen, Wicked World. Funny video too!
