Loving the great slaves of Allah is also loving Allah Him Self swt. Ofcourse there are some people out there who do extreme haram things, but this is not one of those things. Shia Muslims, however, do believe in intercession which is also mentioned in Quran. Anyone who challenges this idea is a wahabi. Because if you say one should directly communicate with Allah , then there was no need of sending messengers on earth. Why did Allah ask to bow angels to Adam, a human? Isn't prostration only for Allah? Why didn't they question it? Because it was Allah's order. Worship means surrendering to Allah's power and authority. HE doesn't need our prayers or prostration to prove his ultimate power. Similarly, believing in Prophet's and Ahlebait's divinity, doesn't challenge Tauheed , it strengthens it. Because you are doing so as Allah has commanded it.

Mujahid, Abu Wa'il, Al-Hasan, Qatadah, `Abdullah bin Kathir, As-Suddi, Ibn Zayd and others gave the same meaning for Wasilah. Qatadah said that the Ayah means, "Seek the means of approach to Him by obeying Him and performing the acts that please Him." أُولَـئِكَ الَّذِينَ يَدْعُونَ يَبْتَغُونَ إِلَى رَبِّهِمُ الْوَسِيلَةَ (Those whom they call upon seek a means of access to their Lord (Allah).) 17:57 Wasilah is a means of approach to achieve something, and it is also used to refer to the highest grade in Paradise, and it is the grade of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, his residence and the nearest grade in Paradise to Allah's Throne. Al-Bukhari recorded that Jabir bin `Abdullah said that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, «مَنْ قَالَ حِينَ يَسْمَعُ النِّدَاءَ: اللَّهُمَّ رَبَّ هذِهِ الدَّعْوَةِ التَّامَّةِ، وَالصَّلَاةِ الْقَائِمَةِ، آتِ مُحَمَّدًا الْوَسِيلَةَ وَالْفَضِيلَةَ، وَابْعَثْهُ مَقَامًا مَحْمُودًا الَّذِي وَعَدْتَهُ،إِلَّا حَلَّتْ لَهُ الشَّفَاعَةُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَة»

Asalamo alaikum sister, I hope you read your comments inshallah. It is not permissible for Muslims to visit shrines and tombs etc. The prophet saw said you can only visit my mosque, masjid al haram and baitul maqdis. I urge you to study your religion and read up about what the Shia beliefs are. They are not Muslims and many ulema have said this. They curse the sahaba and the wives of the prophet saw. I am assuming that you don’t know this hence why you visited this shrine. All the best sister may Allah swt guide us to the straight path.

Imam Hussain was the grandson of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). He is equally important for Shia and Sunni or at least it should be.

My Sunnis chill out pls, this is educational, only Allah swt is to be worshipped, remembering and paying respects to the great slaves of Allah is not automatically worshipping the slaves of Allah. Loving the great slaves of Allah is also loving Allah Him Self swt. Ofcourse there are some people out there who do extreme haram things, but this is not one of those things. Such educational videos are very good and helps all Muslims learn their history, different school of thoughts, and this helps us all toward our ultimate goal to unite our islamic world so we can finally restore our Khilafah insha’allah. (seek the Wasilah to Him.) Sufyan Ath-Thawri said that Talhah said that `Ata' said that Ibn `Abbas said that Wasilah means `the means of approach'. Mujahid, Abu Wa'il, Al-Hasan, Qatadah, `Abdullah bin Kathir, As-Suddi, Ibn Zayd and others gave the same meaning for Wasilah. Qatadah said that the Ayah means, "Seek the means of approach to Him by obeying Him and performing the acts that please Him."
أُولَـئِكَ الَّذِينَ يَدْعُونَ يَبْتَغُونَ إِلَى رَبِّهِمُ الْوَسِيلَةَ
(Those whom they call upon seek a means of access to their Lord (Allah).) 17:57 Wasilah is a means of approach to achieve something, and it is also used to refer to the highest grade in Paradise, and it is the grade of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, his residence and the nearest grade in Paradise to Allah's Throne. Al-Bukhari recorded that Jabir bin `Abdullah said that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said,
«مَنْ قَالَ حِينَ يَسْمَعُ النِّدَاءَ: اللَّهُمَّ رَبَّ هذِهِ الدَّعْوَةِ التَّامَّةِ، وَالصَّلَاةِ الْقَائِمَةِ، آتِ مُحَمَّدًا الْوَسِيلَةَ وَالْفَضِيلَةَ، وَابْعَثْهُ مَقَامًا مَحْمُودًا الَّذِي وَعَدْتَهُ،إِلَّا حَلَّتْ لَهُ الشَّفَاعَةُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَة»

And if you (O Muhammad SAW) ask them: "Who has created the heavens and the earth," they will certainly say: "Allah." Say: "All the praises and thanks be to Allah!" But most of them know not.

It is not permissible for Muslims to visit shrines and tombs etc. The prophet saw said you can only visit my mosque, masjid al haram and baitul maqdis.
I urge you to study your religion and read up about what the Shia beliefs are. They are not Muslims and many ulema have said this. They curse the sahaba and the wives of the prophet saw.
I am assuming that you don’t know this hence why you visited this shrine. All the best sister may Allah swt guide us to the straight path.
