The police chief is ignorant and willing to lie about his own officers, now that we know where the chief stands he should be removed from his position

All 3 officers should be charged and in JAIL. We Canadians should bring a class action case for all 3 officers, chief

Toronto mayor and the councillors need to either fire these 3 cops and police chief for having a press conference for the decision of the jury we have to respect the jury Decision

A case of "play stupid games, win stupid prizes" that could have costed this poor man everything. The officer should now be investigated for the distress they caused him and for the lies they tried to frame this man with.

Police officers have a duty to act honorably and conduct themselves lawfully, not to act dishonestly.

And the way the plain clothes officers were dressed, can you blame Zameer. Even if they had pulled out their badges, dressed like that!! Any person would want to protect his family, especially a pregnant wife and a toddler!!!

The Police Chief was incompetent to say for different out come. Zameer was vindicated by 12 follow citizens as Juries. Police should reconsider how the plain cloth Officers behave in public and not to give an impression as thugs or thieves in any situations.

This was an unnecessary and vengeful prosecution on the part of Metro police. There was never a case for murder, yet they put this innocent man through 3 years of hell ! Lies and collusion by the officers involved, interference by the former Mayor and the Premiere. Let's hope that this poor family will at last be allowed some peace, free from harassment.

I would have never thought that Canadian Justice System, Police would be so corrupted and flawed in many ways. Thank God this innocent guy was realized. I just lost my respect for Canadian Police.

What policy lessons can be learned from this tragic event you ask? Let's start with the scary trend of removing numbers and names from police uniforms. Something the RCMP continue to do every day, and most recently roadside in Alberta. The police chief needs to resign immediately!

My support goes to the wrongfully charged. So happy he was acquited. My heart also goes out to police officer that died. There is a real and serious need for police to conduct themselves more responsibly. These police officers and Chief that took part in attempting to cover up the truth and as a result charging this man should consider changing their careers. The public is taught to respect police, and many police officers abuse that trust in their positions of authority. Those that do so, have no doubt about it, will answer to the Almighy Lord one day.

and yet these scumbags cops wants more money. They tell you to bend over and give your car keys to thief and lied in court. This poor man could have easily spent many years in jail.
