  • 3rd gen 4runner running board removal. In this video we will be going over how to remove the running boards on your 3rd gen Toyota 4Runner. This will provide you with more side clearance and give you a overall better appearance, imo. Easily done at home with minimal tools required, wire brush, penetrating fluid, 13mm wrench and 13mm socket and ratchet.

Tony is also a mechanic. Everything to do with physical science, Howard and Tony are all about. Tony was working on his hotrod in the garage remember. And he fixed Iron Lad's Mustang in Iron Man 3

Thanks for this! I have a gen 3/1999 4Runner limited with running boards that I want to remove. This and all your videos makes me feel way more comfortable working in my rig in my driveway. Keep’m coming brotha!

When corroded, an angle grinder with a cutting tool is the only way to get those bolts out.

I am missing the right rear running board end cap on my recently purchased 4 runner sr5. finding a replacement is insane so I'm opting to remove the whole thing. Great video thank you for the help

Dude I have the exact opposite problem. I'm missing all BUT my right rear cap. I can't find any near me, so I just took the boards off entirely until I find better ones.

Great video, I actually need to install them, giving my 4runner to my daughter. I purchased some running boards but they didn't come with the bolts. Do you happen to have the size?

I have been trying to find the running boards for my 98 4Runner and I can’t find them anywhere.
They are exactly the ones you removed. Where can I find them? I have searched and can’t find them.
If anyone can help it would be really appreciated.

friend I see a little bit we managed the chassis of your 4runner, in my country we protect the chassis from rust we spray diesel with motor oil you stir them and then spray them as if it were paint and that protects your chassis
