  • The first video to strip/pull down a Triumph Stag engine easily and safely. I appreciate it is easier with garage facilities, but i do hope it helps if you are planning on doing the task yourself.
Mk1 and 2 engines are basically the same mechanically. There are some differences, but the procedures are identical.
I have split this into two parts so i can do more in real time to try and help people doing this themselves, therefore part 2 will be removing the cylinder heads and the remainder of the ancillaries ready for machining and rebuild
If you have any questions please ask in the comments and i will try to reply asap.
Please enjoy the rest of my videos, and please remember to subscribe to keep up to date with my new content as my channel develops, I also have business facebook and instagram pages (Yorkshire Classic Cars Ltd) which you are welcome to like and follow that covers my customer cars updates every week

Crank was a real surprise after seeing the oil lol. I think the shells must have been done just before it was taken for paint.
Second episode loading as we speak, unfortunately I have lost a lot of the commentary which is gutting as I filmed it pretty much as real time so people could understand the process

As for your microphone, I think it is too sensitive, check your settings as any large volume sounds causes the microphone to limit and shut off momentarily. Good content as always, just missed the narrationa bit. Similar happened on your TV8 head removal video. Check settings before putting mic in a vice ;)

It's in the bin now lol, it was losing charge, its obviously a tiny battery in it and it doesn't last very long, and it just starts flashing and the audio has cut off. I've bought 2 new ones so I can be charging one while using the other.

@@YorkshireClassicCarsltd You weren't using a dashcam were you. They are hopeless on internal batteries. Glad you got yourself sorted. Here's to more happy viewing :)
