Nice, yesterday I tried drive my 2022 4runner after 2 weeks of travel, but shockingly car acted wierd, turns out to be rodent damage, car makers should've do something.

I'm so sorry to hear that! Unfortunately, I'm not too familiar with the Prius. I'm assuming it has a normal 12v battery. If so, just attach to that, but being a hybrid, I would suggest looking into it a little further.
I feel your pain. I have a 22 Prius prime and the mice chewed up the insulation between the oil pan and the floorboard. They even got into the intake fan for the AC and chewed some foam stuff. I ended up finding a bunch of foam inside my cabin air filter, that’s how I found it. Luckily, no wires were chewed according to my mechanic and no fault codes at all. Everything is working fine, just a good chunk of insulation missing on the bottom. I ordered 2 of these repellents, I ordered tomcat rat bait and mice motels to put them in (they are going around the car) I also got pure peppermint oil and going to spray down non-electrical areas. My mechanic recommended that I actually turn off the EV mode and use the power mode to get the car hot in the mornings. He said to only use the EV mode sparingly.
Nope it will stay on unless you shut it off. As long as you drive the car you won't have battery issues. Plus it's suppose to shut off automatically if the battery is too low.
Yes, I agree. I've been using this with great success with no issues, and I'm still recommending this product. It's a great little insurance, just in case.

Thanks for the review, my truck is in the shop to get wires fixed from mouse damage - going to install 2 of these in the truck.
So far so good I just checked today still no sign of them.
Installed one under Gladiator hood front of battery. It worked!! I tried mothballs, mint leaves, and peppermint oil nothing worked until this.

Not at all. I have them in all my cars. My dog never gets bothered by them.
It's disappointing that automakers don't build cars with rodent repellent features built standard under the hood
Yeah, you're right, especially when it costs so little. It should be a standard option for sure!

Does it matter what nut you put it under on the positive and negative? (I see different 3 nuts on positive side and 2 on the negative side). Thanks
No I just put it on the one that fit the best. As long as you do positive to positive negative to negative your good 👍
