Definitely agree season 2 of Dave was weird, but season 3 got a lot better
but we only heard like 20 second clips of these songs on the show, I enjoyed finally hearing the full version cause theres some really good verses here
hearsay was one of my favorite songs off the album i think it stand on its own and would work in a cohesive album

So I’m someone who hasn’t watched Dave but I’ve been a fan of Lil Dicky. I just never watched it and to this day idk why. Anyways I digress, I was on TH-cam and watched the “Hahaha” track and then watched his interview on Andrew Schultz, then watched a video on TH-cam that was hating on this album so I came here to hear your thoughts. And I’m glad I did because your criticisms are very thought provoking lol funny fun video. Now I gotta know if I should watch Dave or not? To me, the tracks, even without the context, enjoyed this album. The lyrics, beats, and overall vibe was hype for me; plus 22 tracks? I mean, what is any other rapper doing with their careers right now? 21 Scamage is over here picking on little old Adin 😂😂😂 Nicki and Megan beef in for no reason but publicity (much love to Nicki, but Hiss was better than Bigfoot 🤷🏾♂️)

I feel more like Dave the show in its entirety is just an excuse/way for him to make music. Rather than the music being made "for the show."

i disagree with the idea you need to know the show to connect with the album. i havnt seen a single episode of the show, and this album is absolutely fire. the songs themes hit all the same regardless of the context of the show
