- Upon first sniff it was a love, easy , gentle and beautiful. If Le Parfum still didn’t do it for you then this may be the one. I do love the Vanilla in Le Parfum though. Totally giving more almond, marzipan that abrupt cherry 🍒.

I, too, suffer from a chocolate addiction. I manage mine by only eating it in the month of October so I can take advantage of the holiday sales.🤷🏽♀️ I have not tried any of the Opium flankers. I only like the OG. But I like smelling them.

Yes I sampled that illicit one and I actually liked it as well, I was kinda weirded out by the green bottle ( which really shouldn’t matter ) . Wasn’t sure if the juice was green but a nice scent 💖 Thanks for sharing a will definitely revisit

Hey Claire!! It definitely does seem sweet based on the notes but the least sweet of them all. Even the OG is sweeter than OVER RED, I was surprised and surprised it’s not the typical cherry note. The OG will always and forever be. Hope you get to test this one out, it’s soft and elegant ❤

I like all the black opium perfumes. This one was a let down for me and I returned it. It's a very light and skin scent absolutely no sillage. I was hoping for something rich. The blanche and extreme are my favorites.

I love black opium and I have the original, extreme, Le parfum, and I blind bought the large bottle over over red. I love a good cherry note. I have a number of other cherry fragrances. To me it smells like cherry vanilla ice cream but not too sweet. I love the over red and don’t smell any patchouli in it at all. I layered it with Le parfum and it was a fruity vanilla bomb. I also layered with extreme and that made it a little darker and loved it too. My students asked me if I smelled candy in my classroom. Too cute.
