- For Father's Day, my wife picked up the FTC Batman and Robin from the 1960s TV show. Today, I do an unboxing of the iconic Batmobile in toy form.

Just ordered me one today ...... they had blue and red, so I went blue .....also picked up the batcycle ......I had the Batman and Robin back in 73, but no vehicles......glad to have them now 😁👍❤🇺🇸

Brilliant! I always wanted one of those as a kid, but were difficult to get where I lived in England...Actually, you could buy another one for count Dracula!! If you don't use the Batman stickers for the car doors, then hey presto, you got yourself a Dracmoblie!!!🤣🤣🤣

@@casualcrafter I might get the batmobile and Sven it up. Then Sven will have his own fleet of cars.
It's amazing. The biggest mass produced Batmobile from Mattel at 17.5 inches can't fit these figures, but the old Mego and this new FTC which is much smaller can. Maybe FTC will make a bigger and better Batmobile, cause Mego sure as hell won't.
I'm not sure about that. At SCCC 22 Mego announced (and showed) that they are re-releasing some of the original first series Super Heroes including Batman and Robin. A Batmobile isn't out of the realm of possibilities, I don't think.
Now I want to get these figures.

I had the original it seems a little bit smaller. But that's me.
Yeah, the scale is definitely a tad off.
I bought this version today at a local shop. They also had an original. The replica is indeed a tad smaller. Same proportions, but about 1/2 narrower and an inch or so shorter.
Odd thing for the company to do, but it still works fine. Even the original, whike a bit piece of plastic, is quite compact in scale compared to the 8' figures. This one doesn't really look very different with the figs in it compared to the vintage one.
I had this is the early 70s I was a kid and loved it - when we moved my sisters threw it out as we went on ahead - i miss it.

How much is the original if found in good shape just curious i have the megos figures and realy like this car
It depends on the condition. I have seen in box for up to $350 on Ebay (but that's Ebay).

Agree. I think building up with plexiglass windscreens would be a start.
I wish they could have done something more detailed...and less retro
I think my only gripe is the scale. =)
