great videos. i was really taught a good message in your videos. being a fourteen year old lady, iam blessed to be knowledged on how we should look into the society. powerful messages and sayings. thank you and keep up the good work.
What about the homeless in America? Do they deserve less? They did not choose to be poor and homeless. The Catholic church helps those in other countries but we seem to ignore those suffering in our own country. We have an astounding amount of poor and homeless in our streets and metro stops. What would Jesus do? Would He ignore us and travel to another country?
Marie Just Marie Christ would entrust the duty to help them onto us, in scripture he hells the poor and marginalized to show people what should be done. It is never implied that it is up to him exclusively (nor do I think that is what you imply). What Jesus would do is tell us to follow his example. When he washes his disciples’ feet he tells them to do the same onto others as he did to them. The Church helps those in need who have no one to help, the homeless in America have everyone in America to help. Jesus always preached about what should be done and how to help the poor and marginalized, like God entrusted us with Creation, Christ entrusts us with those within it.
The Catholic Church helps everyone around the world. I have never had a parish in 43 years that did not have a St. Vincent de Paul Society or similar to help locally.
2:54 no, but if they die poor i believe that is on them. Helping them should only be half the battle, making sure they have a place and contribution to society should be the other half.
...And that was when Christ said, "What, Yal didn't bring your own fish? Your own bread? Your own wine? You are truly pathetic, Yal aren't welcome in my kingdom, you freeloaders" ... this is the word of the lord, amen
Thanks CRS for making CST inspiring and motivating videos, its awesome!
