There isn't anywhere better to be than in the middle of the chaos in the Hanoi Old Quarter, with many food vendors offering Vietnamese delicacies, tiny stalls with delicious dishes and many other types of restaurants around every corner. This part of Hanoi has everything from Vietnamese noodles to French bakeries.
We rode through the streets of Hanoi old quarter, explored Hoan Kiem Lake walking amongst the locals and tourists watching the sunset and enjoying the food here. It was an extraordinary experience altogether.
We visited Ngoc Son Temple in the morning at 8 am that is when it opens, and you get zero to less crowd for at least an hour here. The bridge is one of the picturesque places here and so after that you will always find it crowded. It closes at 6 pm.
