I too don't time travel, and I'd argue the fact they removed Resetti is proof that they don't care about time travelers as much anymore at Nintendo, though I was bummed to find out there's little reason to bank anymore when I finally had almost a mil saved and earned about 400 bells interest due to exploits others did with the bank.

Funny thing is that all of the latest entries in the Animal Crossing games, including ACNH, have in built-clocks separated from the Switch's internal clock, so that you can time travel if you wish to without altering your system's clock. The devs literary know about it, and made a feature for the people who want to play it that way.
That's how it's been UNTIL New Horizons, the only option is to change the time on the Switch itself. Also, they're phasing out updates now (the Earth Day one came out a month after the game's release) because they want people to play the game for longer and not finish it up in a month.

My comment was deleted for some reason but basically: The ACNH person made a tweet a while back talking about how you should live the way you want without anyone else affecting it. She also spoke ill of Etika, around the time of his unfortunate death. Stating that he is an attention seeker and not mentally ill. But recently she started tweeting that the reason she had her rampage was due to sleep deprivation caused by the pandemic. She's shifting the blame onto her mental state.
Even in FPS games, cheating can exist,as long as it doesn't ruin the fun for others. For example, take CSGO and TF2- you can use every hack you want to use, as long as you're playing on HvH servers or you create your own server.

Don't TT at the start. Maybe play a week normally then when you upgrade your Resident Services then I think it's good for you to do it. Just a few pointers on something's that Nintendo added to discourage it. If you TT back in time, all Turnips rot and lose any value. Weeds, Weeds and more weeds. You miss out on Money rocks and Money Tress

Regarding the AC:NH debacle, I personally love TTers since they've skipped ahead and gotten info on things like "which painting Redd sells that's fake and real" or "Which insect/Fish appears where, at what time and which season/month". This is helpful for people like me who don't want to spend HOURS gathering bell after bell just to buy a painting and accidentally purchase a fake, when I could have saved up for a lovely new bridge or payoff some of my loan to Tom Nook; or go hunting for literal months in a row in the local river trying to find the last fish on my chart, only to realise it only appears in the ocean. I myself used to time travel in AC for the gamecube mostly to mess around with towns that are like 10-20 years beyond their starting dates. Personally the two things you mentioned here is the same problem that appears a lot in the gaming community: "URR! UR PLAYING DA GAIM WRONG! U SCRUB! YOU SUK! GIT GUD!" I just roll my eyes and laugh as I watch them rage playing a hard game on the highest difficulty whilst I casually build my little space station in Starbound and occasionally have to deal with an enemy when I am mining for more gold.

Not directly but you can either give items/currency if they allow you onto their island or they go to your island. The only other way is Devs blanket patching nerfs regardless of vanilla status. Still feel forcing a player into a style they don't like is wrong.
5:50 Yo-Kai Watch actually has something similar to that, where if you time travel then the games will not let you access the daily content until a few days later, however if you keep doing it the game will extend the time, plus some other things can happen too (IDK I never really time traveled much unless its the first game, because in that game there isn't really any consequences for time traveling)
kinda like buying a flight simulator and being barrated for doing loops in an airliner because it’s fun. If you want to do loops, you do it in a flight sim instead of hyjacking an airliner irl and crashing it. In the flight sim, unless you’re playing multiplayer on a simulation server, there are no consequences for doing loops and crashing. Play the game how you want, you (probably, looking at you, piraters) paid for it, you play it until it gets boring.

ACNH removed the ingame date changing so you have to change the switch date, but it's not too big of an inconvenience

Even in FPS games, cheating can exist,as long as it doesn't ruin the fun for others. For example, take CSGO and TF2- you can use every hack you want to use, as long as you're playing on HvH servers or you create your own server.

Regarding the AC:NH debacle, I personally love TTers since they've skipped ahead and gotten info on things like "which painting Redd sells that's fake and real" or "Which insect/Fish appears where, at what time and which season/month". This is helpful for people like me who don't want to spend HOURS gathering bell after bell just to buy a painting and accidentally purchase a fake, when I could have saved up for a lovely new bridge or payoff some of my loan to Tom Nook; or go hunting for literal months in a row in the local river trying to find the last fish on my chart, only to realise it only appears in the ocean.
I myself used to time travel in AC for the gamecube mostly to mess around with towns that are like 10-20 years beyond their starting dates.

5:50 Yo-Kai Watch actually has something similar to that, where if you time travel then the games will not let you access the daily content until a few days later, however if you keep doing it the game will extend the time, plus some other things can happen too (IDK I never really time traveled much unless its the first game, because in that game there isn't really any consequences for time traveling)
