We’ve got a top squad with new signings arriving this summer. We’ve got a new exciting coach with a full pre-season. Unrealistic isn’t the word, unlikely is.
I’d say City are still the favorites, Arsenal will definitely be in the race. We’ll either be in the race or battling for top 4. But there’s always that slight chance that he does wonders.
I guess we’ll find out. The goal in my opinion is qualifying for UCL (top 4) and winning atleast one trophy (FA, Carabao or UCL)
@@Larsd69 its like saying its possible, but not really probable. Even sheffield utd , norwich or southampton has 1% chance to win the league every season but 99% chance that they dont. And that what happens every year. For lfc to win next year they need to do so many things right.they have to take every right descisions on and off the field. And with fsg ( we know how much they DONT like to spend) just dont see us winning the league in the next 2 seasons atleast. Domestic cup comps should be realistic targets.

It isn't so easy replacing players even if you have the money. Success isn't guaranteed. LFC broke the bank for Nunez.
To become a title contender, Liverpool needs Natural born finishers like Suarez or David Villa used to be and cant' afford selfish players like Salah. Sell wasteful Darwin and Salah who is both wasteful and selfish. Or, cheer for Salah who scores after 25 wasted opportunities and blame the midfield players who get discouraged feeding them with game winning balls 4-6 times a game.
No they didn’t. They spent about 50million on nunez with add ons depending on how he did with various targets. The amount could be about 84 million if all the targets are hit. Haarland was just 51 million in terms of his contract but his agent got 20 million and he had a release clause in his contract too… just to make sure you know what you’re talking about… don’t believe everything that you hear from the press or social media.

Nunez has got potential but I don’t see him as being as great as mane or firmino in how quickly they were. He has already spent like 2-3 years here and is still considered a sporadic player

Nunez misses so many chances only because he gets a ridiculous amount of them. And for some reason we focus only on these misses. If we talk about scoring goals Nunez in his first 2 seasons has scored 10more goals than Firmino and exactly as many as Mane (I just checked) + Nunez gives even more Assists than he scores.
So, he already is a quality player. There is no If but when he will polish his finishing.. he is going to become a scary good player.
@@staariniex1 for a 85 million player he is crap. Endo is not a great DM but for 16 million we can accept what he did. If endo costed 50 mollion then all of us would say at 50 million endo has been a failure. We always look at players from what they costed. If nunez costed 40 million and was supposed to be a backup striker to jota and gakpo then we would accept nunez being average. But at 85 million you are supposed to be the main goal score and you miss chances that an 85 year old granny would score, that suggests you are crap at that price.
