My waterproof mascara tip: I always use a regular mascara as the first coat and then layer the waterproof mascara as the second coat. The waterproof layer helps prevent running/smudging but the buffer layer of regular mascara underneath doesn’t seem to ruin the lashes as much and makes it a lot easier to take off since the waterproof isn’t clinging to the lash directly.
Thanks, I am going to try this. I have a medical condition that causes my eyes to water, itch and be very sensitive. So I have to wear waterproof mascara but I don’t really like removing it. This may just make my life easier and save my poor clear redhead eyelashes!💜💜💜

I am obsessed with the Elf Putty blushes. The consistency is amazing and they set well over powder 🥰 Tarte has an ash blonde brow pencil that is the perfect cool shade and comes with a gel on the other side. Tarte and the UD brow blade are the only brands that make good cool tones
The only brow products I've ever used was one from Bobbi Brown (this was 15 yrs ago at least) and the clear Maybelline gel. Yesterday I picked up the brow gel from Elf. I just used it. I'm in awe!! I can't believe how well it's holding my brows in place without feeling crunchy as well as how much product it dispensed. I have pretty full brows and only need a little bit of fill-in in 2 areas on both brows. It did that seamlessly. I also picked up one of their no budge eyeshadows without even realizing it, lol. It's the rose gold shade. I'm in awe of this product too. I have to be careful when using anything glitter due to aging lids. This product worked so great for me. Usually it takes me 30-45 mins to get the look I want. Today? I was able to do my makeup and hair in that amount of time. Don't know if anyone has tried Hard Candys eye primer. I bought that too. Today is the 1st time using it but I gotta say. It worked just as good as my UD primer potion that I just bought 2 days ago. Sorry for the novel but I just wanted to share. Maybe someone will get some good, cheap products out of this... 😉

Hi! My miracle recipe for sun spots is: 1- sunscreen all year long. 2- timeless vitaminC (L ascorbic acid) in the morning. 3- prescription tretinoin and niacinamide at night. With your dry skin, if you want to try, you should go very slow, though!

In the LA Girl brow pencil, I actually use the shade darker than taupe-Soft Brown. Both Blond and Taupe look almost green in my brows (and we have the same skin tone and hair color). So if you read this and decide to buy another of these pencils, I definitely recommend going with Soft Brown-it’s perfect!
The elf putty blushes were a surprise favorite of mine this fall-when you put them on with your fingers they dry to a power quickly and it makes them so easy to blend! I love that they have a lot of deeper shades, because cream blushes can tend to veer light. Even though you and I have the same skin tone, I actually prefer their two deepest shades-Maldives and Bali-applied with a lighter hand, because they’re just different from anything else I own!
If you want super lengthening mascara that also defines without clumps, I suggest trying the new Maybelleine Sky High tubing formula. I have set aside several of my higher end mascaras in preference to this one.

I recently acquired the E.l.f. Tahiti and Bahamas putty blushes and they are lovely. I also bought the new Milani Skin Fresh cream blush in You're a Peach. I am LIVING for cream blushes and every company is coming out with them so I haven't even reached for my MAC Glow Play blushes recently. I have too many options!
I just picked up the Maybelline Sky High mascara and I love it! I have such issues with mascara smudging, so I only use tubing ones. I took a chance on this one based on reviews and I’m glad I did! It’s the first non-tubing mascara that doesn’t smudge on me!

Yes i live in Maryland. I got 3 to 5 inches plus ice 2 to 3 inches of ice had a snow day. This weekend another Strom 3 to 5 inches for sunday into monday again mix of ice and snow. Last year no snow... this year snow. It's been great !💕😁

Hi Mandy, love this look on you. I do have sand use the elf Camo CC Cream. I really like it. I use it with the Camo hydrating concealer. There are some great ingredients in this cc cream. That’s how I justified the price tag. I don’t mind paying a little more if the formula is good. I just received the elf putty blush I think in the same shade, Tahiti. I haven’t had a chance to use it yet. Looks beautiful on. 💜💚💜

I think the Colourpop lipliners are a good dupe for the Charlotte Tilbury ones. I love the shade BFF, it reminds me of iconic nude, though it is a little more pink.

@@MoonlitSunflower I put some on my hand and then I use my Elf Jelly Pop stippling blush to apply to my cheeks. I go on and do some other things on my face to let it dry a bit. I come back and apply a little powder blush over the top. You don’t have to apply the apply the powder blush. I just do that to set it and I love blush.
I really like the Milani blush ( I have the same color) and the bambi mascara is just so so for me but I am loyal to my Voluminous in black/brown and none compare. Closest I've found is the Monsieur Big (I'm a waterproof fan) but they don't make a black/brown shade which is my preference. I feel like if you go waterproof, the wand has to have natural bristles because the plastic spikey ones just clump the lashes together but that's just me...Samantha March said the CC cream broke her out so would love to know if you have the same experience as that's why I am holding off on getting it. Loved the video!!!

Can you use retinol and vitamin c serums ? That's great for age spots and sun damage. I had a freckle under my eye that looked like a fleck of mascara. That combo got rid of it!
Mandy, have you tried the Kiehl's Clearly Corrective Dark Spot Corrector for your hyperpigmentation? My sister had great results with it. Costco has it in store right now and surprise surprise, at a great price! 🙂

My sister and I both have patches of melasma. We’ve been using the Good Molecules discoloration correcting serum and it really does help fade the melasma and acne scars.
I felt like the Bambi eye mascara was too wet for me and caused my lashes to clump up. I picked up the maybelline sky high mascara and it’s pretty amazing!
This is hilarious, I just got an Ulta order a couple days ago I also bought the essence luminous bronzer as well as the Milani cream blush... Great minds.... Also I think the Elf blushes are great, they were my first cream blush and after the first one I bought I immediately bought 2 more. I never realized how much longer cream blushes last before those purchases. And the finish is beautiful.... I guess I’m in the cream cult now.

I set cream blushes with powder blushes of the same color and they both make each other stay longer 😂🙈 Except for my lipsticks that I use as blush they stay forever on their own and do not fade which is weird!
Hi Mandy! Loved it when you zoomed in to show the mascara, would it be possible to see you apply foundation closer as well? I am not sure if your camera might have a filter on it but when you mentioned you had wrinkles and spots I didn't notice any change. You always look amazing but would love to see how things work closer up!
Try the L’Oréal Unlimited mascara. I love the wand on that formula and although it’s not waterproof (which I don’t like), it’s long wearing. I really love the wand too and it can be bent for the inner and outer corners. One of my faves ♥️

I always use a eye lash primer. I have tried most. My favorite is the Loreal. My mascara never flakes. No matter what brand.

I don’t own a cream blush. I am trying to pan my lipsticks. I just use my lipstick as my cream blush. I then set it with my powder blush.
Do you mind if I ask how you like to apply your lipsticks as blush? I've been considering doing it myself one of these days.
@@MoonlitSunflower I put some on my hand and then I use my Elf Jelly Pop stippling blush to apply to my cheeks. I go on and do some other things on my face to let it dry a bit. I come back and apply a little powder blush over the top. You don’t have to apply the apply the powder blush. I just do that to set it and I love blush.

Try Ambi bleaching cream to spot fade marks....I'm blonde too and sometimes need to use powder eye shadow to adjust brow shade.

I really like the Milani blush ( I have the same color) and the bambi mascara is just so so for me but I am loyal to my Voluminous in black/brown and none compare. Closest I've found is the Monsieur Big (I'm a waterproof fan) but they don't make a black/brown shade which is my preference. I feel like if you go waterproof, the wand has to have natural bristles because the plastic spikey ones just clump the lashes together but that's just me...Samantha March said the CC cream broke her out so would love to know if you have the same experience as that's why I am holding off on getting it. Loved the video!!!

I know you just got the Bambi eye mascara but I have been loving 🥰 hard on the maybelline sky high mascara. From the first use (I did purchase the waterproof so I don’t know if that it’s better or different) basically I’m saying you should try that one :)
Can you use retinol and vitamin c serums ? That's great for age spots and sun damage. I had a freckle under my eye that looked like a fleck of mascara. That combo got rid of it!

My sister and I both have patches of melasma. We’ve been using the Good Molecules discoloration correcting serum and it really does help fade the melasma and acne scars.
I felt like the Bambi eye mascara was too wet for me and caused my lashes to clump up. I picked up the maybelline sky high mascara and it’s pretty amazing!
This is hilarious, I just got an Ulta order a couple days ago I also bought the essence luminous bronzer as well as the Milani cream blush... Great minds.... Also I think the Elf blushes are great, they were my first cream blush and after the first one I bought I immediately bought 2 more. I never realized how much longer cream blushes last before those purchases. And the finish is beautiful.... I guess I’m in the cream cult now.
I got the LA girl brow pencil in blonde and it’s a warm blonde. It’s a nice product but I prefer a cooler tone in my brows too. I was thinking about getting the taupe next time I place another Ulta order.

I set cream blushes with powder blushes of the same color and they both make each other stay longer 😂🙈
Except for my lipsticks that I use as blush they stay forever on their own and do not fade which is weird!

Hi Mandy! Loved it when you zoomed in to show the mascara, would it be possible to see you apply foundation closer as well? I am not sure if your camera might have a filter on it but when you mentioned you had wrinkles and spots I didn't notice any change. You always look amazing but would love to see how things work closer up!
No she doesn't bu the lights make the skin look better and you can't notice blemishes or age spots much
Try the L’Oréal Unlimited mascara. I love the wand on that formula and although it’s not waterproof (which I don’t like), it’s long wearing. I really love the wand too and it can be bent for the inner and outer corners. One of my faves ♥️
