So my tip on the whole maceration process...i buy fragrances out of season...so anything that is for fall or winter I will buy in the spring and vice versa. Plus they tend to be cheaper that way because they're not in demand.
My understanding is that these companies do not let their fragrances macerate so they can get them out quickly and sell them. It makes sense if they are providing them at such a low price. Allowing the maceration process costs a lot more to the manufacturers, so, they let the customer do the maceration. I do not mind it because it takes between two weeks and a month to let it fully process, and I save myself a huge chunk of change 💰. Many of these fragrances have turned to be spectacular and beast mode after maceration, so, in my personal opinion, I can wait if saves me hundreds of dollars and I get a wonderful result. I just wanted to share this with you because there is a waiting period to get the best out of the fragrance but in the long term it is truly worth it.
I first started trying Arab perfumes around this time last year. I was not impressed with any of the scents I bought- I got several from Lataffa and Swiss Arabian and some other brands. I spent so much time online searching these scents because what I bought smelled NOTHING like how everyone on TikTok / TH-cam were describing the fragrances as So I started reading through their comment sections instead and I found that everyone was saying the same thing- that their Arab perfumes came in and smelled bad. But they also said to spray it a few times after you buy it, and then leave the lid off and keep it on a dark shelf for several months. The fruity floral Arab scents I bought last spring, didn’t smell good at all. And yet here I am a whole year later and they actually smell just like the real perfumes that they’re a dupe of I have a dupe of Delina by PDM and a dupe of Good Girl Gone bad by kilian- I have both of those perfumes as well as the Arab dupes and the dupes are definitely pretty spot on! The other Arab fragrances I got that are more so for cold weather, also all smelled funky when I bought them. But now they smell so rich and defined. I agree tho- why tf am I buying perfumes that I can’t even use for 4-12 months because they’re not even good until almost a year after I buy them?! It’s so stupid to me 😂 I enjoy a lot of the Arab scents I got, but I only enjoy them now that they’ve been macerating for a year. So I decided I will no longer buy Arab perfumes, no matter how affordable they are or how good everyone says they smell- because I’d be buying another scent that I wouldn’t even be able to wear for months and months. Macerating 10000% works and transforms the fragrance! It’s just annoying that we have to do all that, in the first place
I see it in a different perspective. I feel like i “cook” my perfume for a perfect condition 😅 also i have a lot, so anyway some of them will stay on a shelf. And also i buy all this things in Dubai, immediately open and spray to try, then leave the country (especially for hot summer) and then when i get back.. i will have surprise-surprise 😂😂 And yeah comment section is the best source to find good perfume or dupes for it, honest opinion or whatever 🤭
@@victoriav.7815Arabic perfumes don’t cost over a hundred usd…and that’s the whole point most are only 20, 30, and some 40ish not two or three hundred plus! Perfumes are ridiculous anymore but not these and they’re great! As for me I’m not dying in the next few weeks to my knowledge so waiting on them to come into their own I’ll keep my coins in my pocket and collect these bad boys…Hope designer & niche goes out of biz for overcharging us so much and this is proof they DO!!! You’re only paying for their name…no thank you but hey to each their own! Ps a lot of people are selling their designer & niche on Mercari and keeping the Arabic ones😂😂😂
You should try Brown Orchid Amethyst by Fragrance World. It's an Arab fragrance that smells exactly like the original pre-reformulation Alien. I have several Alien inspired fragrances, including the Zara's Splendid Bronze, which I know you love, but I feel Brown Orchid Amethyst is the best of the best as an original Alien alternative.
Qimmah has a high rating in fragrantica. I’m afraid to blind buy it though because of the tuberose 🙄 I would probably go for Rose Petals. This video is just hysterical , by the way 😂
I loooove rose prick and infini rose! 🌹Rose prick is beautiful and gets smokey/incense in the dry down. At first I was against it but when I actually smelled it 😍it's smells of such good quality. I drowned myself in it for mother's day.
I have the Qaed Al Fursan perfume, I use it as a boudoir scent. I find it to be very cozy and comforting. I also own Believe by Britney Spears. It smells more like designer fragrance than a celebrity one. It definitely doesn’t follow the typical sweet gourmand scent profile celebrity fragrances are known for, but it doesn’t last. If it had better longevity it would rank a 7/10 overall for me.
“QimmaGGHHHH” 😂😂 I think that sharp note in Atomic Rose is hedione, it makes my nose itch! I like the fragrance but cant do it sometimes its too sharp!
Bonjour Mila, Scarlet Jas est une réussite, je suis d'accord avec toi. Mais mon préféré est le " Simply Blanc" (Just Jack aussi) qui est un dupe de "Soleil Blanc" de Tom Ford bien évidemment... Bonne semaine ❤
Thank you! Infini Rose has a sharp edge (pine needles?). that I don’t like at all. I can’t figure it out either. And it doesn’t get better with masceration.
Quaed al fursan at first smelled to me like some skin scented product but with time my batch got so much better now I perceived it kind of sophisticated and versatile. Fatima was hideous. And Infiny rose is beautiful but what Mila said that it has some weird thing it is true to me smells like an animal pee the first couple of sprays but it goes away 😂.
The whole macerate thing drives me crazy too! So basically for perfumes that need to macerate ( DUA or Arabic scents ) I need to buy them 6 months before I want to use them!? 🙄 I will say I tried macerating my pistachio yum since Kayali has such poor performance…it did help…but not enough ha 😊
Hi, Mila! It s a dupe for Matière Noire by Louis Vuitton. So glad to see you! You look amazing. As always. A camel farted in my head...I died :)) Mila, talking about "for external use only" I saw a photo on internet...in the USA...at the gas station: a photo and it was written "do not put it in your mouth or in..." 😁😁😁😁😁
Girl, i agree about all this "maceration " thing... its ridiculous and i don't have patience for it. I bought 2 arabic fragrances and never agaun for this reason 😂
love that you mentioned Gourmandy Andy i love you both his insta and your vieos- my two favourite fragrance people. Btw the Alhambra LV dupe is that Ombre Nomade? Also thinking about grabbing Believe by Britney the bottle is gorgeous. Thank you for video
Qaed Al Fursan is awful to me. I bought it because some popular fragrance reviews I saw on YT and Tiktok said it smelled good. I agree with Mila, it smells like something that's not suppose to be perfume. To me it smells like a strong sunscreen/hairspray/ bug spray mixture. Awful blend. It has no lasting power, it is unbelievable. When you spray it, it smells strong but it dissipates quickly. Apart from my skin, I sprayed it on my clothes and it disappears, no trace of the scent. 😮 The only thing I like is the magnetic bottle cap on it and the look of the bottle somewhat.
Hi Mila, you don't set up a Mac; you just do step by step of what you see on the screen after turning it on. It's too easy tbh. You will love using your Mac 😘 Btw. tell us about your daily routine please - I'm super curious what your day consist of. Thanks! Lots of love
I REALLY disliked the last one - Sakeena. I blindbought it, but I just CAN‘T 😂 But I‘m „macerating“ the first one as well (meaning I don’t like it and it sits somewhere in my cupboard 😂)
Middle Eastern perfumes are notorious for not being macerated. They claim it cuts down on cost and storage so they can bring a cheaper. Price .. the older traditional companies macerate their perfumes before distributing . It is a must in the case of these particular fragrances.. they do become stronger, they do become better blended. most people don't understand this about Middle Eastern perfumes... but a sidenote here, some are just horrible perfumes

loved it and the random bits!
Yes! Exactly agree with the maceration thing
Finally someone giving honest review and not only saying wow wow
Tired of that… casualty, the majority of reviewers they all LOVE all the perfumes they test. Absolutely BS
So my tip on the whole maceration process...i buy fragrances out of season...so anything that is for fall or winter I will buy in the spring and vice versa. Plus they tend to be cheaper that way because they're not in demand.
You are the BEST!! More reviewers need to take notes from your honesty and integrity. You have a REAL personality

finally. someone that actually speaks their mind
I love your honesty. I’m glad I’m not alone. Thanks for standing out from the crowd
Sunday morning coffee and a Mila video. The best!❤
✨✨✨
I love your brutal honesty. 💕
I strongly recommend Club de nuit Imperiale🎉 it's perfect for summer, creamy, milky, a bit minty and coconuty, with great sillage and projection

Mila!!! Flower knows perfumes reviews please!
You will LOVE the bottles.
Finally someone agrees with me on the maceration part 😂
Especially when the perfume costs over 100 usd. 🤯 like what

Quaed Al fursan unlimited to me has not change after maceration unlike other ME perfumes
@@SomeOne-ry6qomine is beautiful idk what happened to yours 🤷🏻♀️
I appreciate your honest, no filter reviews so much.. I can trust your reviews blindly..much love ❤❤
I allowed my Qaed al fursan to macerate for months...it really doesn't get any better. I got rid of it.
Try Fatima the pink one if you like delina exclusive you will love it so far the best dupe

it's nowhere to order from. Very hard to get in this Part of Europe.😢
I love Pistachio infusion 😍😍
Me too! Though it is dupe for Angel's share 💯
Tell me your opinion on L’Interdit in the red bottle please. Not too many reviews on this. I like your opinions. Love your channel!
Qimmah has a high rating in fragrantica. I’m afraid to blind buy it though because of the tuberose 🙄 I would probably go for Rose Petals. This video is just hysterical , by the way 😂
Lol a camel farted in my face. Hilarious. You made me laugh. 😂
Musk mood is the perfume I get compliments the most.
So happy before watching, i ll come back happier after ❤
I agree with you. If I buy something, I shoud be able to use it right away :)
I actually let mascara macerate 😂 the dryer the better
Yes! But it is good to start with. This is my issue the start should be good and getting better. Now ew and wait
Not now horrible and wait*

I totally agree with you on Qaed Al Fusan. Got rid of it.
“QimmaGGHHHH” 😂😂
I think that sharp note in Atomic Rose is hedione, it makes my nose itch! I like the fragrance but cant do it sometimes its too sharp!
I really love and enjoyed the white Yara Moi (13:50) I just wish there's a more long lasting version of it. It's too good to fade too quickly
I love Qaed Al Fursan, it smells like shampoo
Mila I had same symptoms as you: look for methyl Folate and methylated B12 . I know you are professional about researching ;) ❤
Hope you’re having a wonderful weekend?
Thank you Mila.
Hello not really actually had a shit week end so far 😂❤️✨
Have you tried the fatimah delina dupe x the pink bottle x
You absolutely love yourself your obsessed
Keep the videos coming 100K is right around the corner

Oh cool merci je vais ne le prendre !
everytime i see u u just look even more gorgeous. lucky husband to have such a beautiful mother and smart too
Oh that is super sweet ❤️❤️❤️✨
Thank you! Infini Rose has a sharp edge (pine needles?). that I don’t like at all. I can’t figure it out either. And it doesn’t get better with masceration.
I agree. I can't stand it either.
Thank you Mila for this amazing affordable perfumes video 😍.
Mila is glowing❤

I agree. I allowed my bottle to sit for nearly 2 months and somehow the scent seemed more smooth And rounded. Much better with maceration.❤
I bought the Rose Prick from Tim Ford for $490 and it doesn’t last at all maybe couple of hours.
Hi, what are the dupes of delina and good girl gone bad you got please ?
The Jean Lowe Matiere: given the name, could it be a dupe for Matière Noire by Louis Vuitton?
I think so!
Omg I’m ocd but also disorganized too❤ finally hearing someone said the same thing.
I like mess, I am not even lying. Is is just nice to have makeup all over the table rather then perfectly clean, I think you get more creative 🤣❤️
Gosh, I feel like buying perfumes after watching this 🙈😘
What do you think about tiryaq lattafe?
That’s one of the few I like. But then again it’s Bisch

Oh my god…noooo
Would appreciate of you mention the names of each perfume! I love your honesty and recs

Thank you so much for the honest review you are a genuine person ❤
I think she mentioned she's an Aries!
Why did you erase the videos? Wasn't easier just to blur the phone? Just asking.
I don't think people will mind a few seconds of a blurred phone 👍
I am horrible at editing 🙄
Mila ❤can you review the new Bella Hadid fragrances? Orebella or something
The only one ...who have been honest 😂😂😂 too late i am stuck with bunch of perfum smell outdated 😅
😂😂😂 I love your review of the fragrances!
To be honest, no one can do anything by only seeing the numbers at the front without knowing other numbers at the back.
But well.. why take the risk..
