Thats not the reason... they wanted all countries to have the same multiplayer and if they had swastikas it wouldn't be legal to sell in Germany and they'd have to make a different version for the Germans like how they did with World at War. Blame the German laws.

My thoughts exactly. The voices, the sounds that accompany them is also tops. Super Spesh munching on the cookie, the two taps on the fire extinguisher. "I've got a nuke". "OK..." and his left hand - extending all fingers and then just the pointing one suggesting he's nervous". Every second of those scenes is filled with treasure.
Fuckin sick first few minutes. I feel like they nailed the atmosphere here perfectly. That’s the kind of tension I like!!

Like cmon the intercom is blasting alarms and there're explosions and gunshots coming from the previous train car and you're just going to carry on talking and patrolling like everything is fine

Owen Schilling Except you're wrong because the AI for alert enemies is already programmed and in place. This is just a case of the devs limiting the alert flag of AI individually to small zones of each level instead and resetting it back to non alerted each time you move on to a new zone

Apparently you did watch a different video or else you don't understand how gameplay previews work. They are meant to look cinematic. Of course the cutscenes can be skipped, and of course you can play at a lot faster pace.

Gmetoid I'm not really excited. I played through all of wolfinstein the new order and I found it to be a very basic liner shooter. The shooting wasn't that fun either. I may buy this game when it's around £10.
I got both "The New Order" and "Old Blood" for 10 euros and that's a reasonable price for em. The new order was okay, Old blood was just too fucking tedious and repetitive.
Man, by the first two minutes I was already hooked. The story/premise, voice acting and especially the motion capture looks amazing. A game I can respect because it feels like the devs are taking themselves seriously with storytelling!

My favorite weapon in shooters are limited one shot pick up or recharge abilities. Like knifes and bows. One simple clean shot. It's not too difficult but satisfying to pull off and knowing that they will die instantly is a much better feeling that always bursting down guys with bullets and hoping they will die eventually. Knowing if they will die is what makes it so good and I love throwing knifes but not having a big fat arsenal of them

This game has some of the best facial animations I've seen in such a long time, I haven't seen something like that since LA noire. The atmosphere itself is on another level too BioShock infinite shit right here

Really nice cinematography in the cutscenes. With the Blasckovich's wanted poster right behind the commandant, there was subtle tension that whole scene. Id been waiting for a more cinematically inclined game like this. Something in the vein of inglorious basterds.

They really nailed the 50s feel here. The people have that 50s behavior and fashion. Even showed a realistic way Nazis treated the citizens. Like a mixture of friendliness and intimidation.

kalleklops klopsmann the only 90's game I can recall with a soundtrack that resembled this one would be quake 2, and maybe daikatana but we all know how that one went in regards to artistic and sound design. and that's closing a loooong gap.
on the extreme opposite, there's quite a number of fps games out there with orchestral scores nowadays. they're barely anything remarkable outside of titles like halo and gears of wars, the rest are pretty forgettable to be honest.
I'll probably mute it and let Foobar run one of my metal playlists.

The voice acting in this is a 10/10, as a german I have to say that thats how i imagined nazis to speak english.
This is maybe the most advanced 24 minutes of gameplay I've ever watched and I'm just sitting here pissed off that his milkshake sounds like that.
