What can I say? Nice way to start an easy day here in the beautiful Berkshires of Massachusetts. The song perfectly suited to Alba's voice. What a beautiful young lady she has become. Love the Latin (or Samba?) beat and cheery pace of the song.
Elia's violin also an integral part of this one. Jan is now a consummate professional even though so young. He'll only get better I'm sure.
And always the band in flawless execution thanks to all and guy in print shirt - looked like he was really enjoying the music -
Yo tambien Senor Director. Muchas Gracias
Don Gaetano your area is very beautiful. Been there once. I understand what you say.

Yes thanks Deepak, moved out from Boston area 16 years ago and it is like heaven. Especially as I like boating, fishing, swimming and cross country skiing in the winter.
Since Alba is singing in Catalan , I ask:Que idioma es este cancion?

Hey David. The Title is Portuguese (Bar Lighthouse) and I am not bi-lingual so not sure if she was singing in Catalan or Portuguese. The translation in each language Sp - Cat - Por is similar with nuanced differences.
The authors, Galvao/Caetano Veloso are Brazilians speaking Portuguese there I assume and lyrics Portuguese as well.
Spanish is is different enough for me to catch in music and speech but Portuguese and Catalan seem similar to each other in song, I can't tell the difference yet. Maybe with more time but many Latin songs are in Portuguese as you are aware I'm sure.
Took Latin in School more than 50 years ago so enjoy languages and have fun greeting Joan in all three languages using Google translate, mostly Spanish I think. Also friends in Sweden and Canada where I use Swedish and French. Great fun and I'm learning more at my advanced age.
Good question and I like Alba singing in any language. Gracias, que tengas buenas noches.
PS Caetano must be the Portuguese iteration of Gaetano - which is my grandfather's first name and the commenting name I chose.
I'm second generation Italian American with no grandparents fluent in English.

A few years I worried a bit, associating ALba's gracefullness with maybe some fragility. Ah ah, silly me ! She is just maturing in a beautiful female jazz singer !
Se tivesse um projeto como esse no Brasil, eu estaria inscrita!!!!
Um belíssimo trabalho como sempre... Extremo bom gosto...👏👏👏👏👏🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌... Show!!!
Alba ❤
